Bill Edgett Shares His Journey Through The Family Court System And Parental Alienation
Show Notes

Slam the Gavel welcomes Bill Edgett, from Grand Bay, New Brunswick, Canada.  He shares with us his travels through a frustrating Family Court system and is well-versed in the subject of Parental Alienation.
The process for Bill began back in 2015 and he has not had a trial yet. Prior to each trial, an emergency motion has been filed by his ex for Full Custody of the children based on false allegations made to CPS. The commencement of investigations led to Emergency Applications to the Courts which had to be resolved prior to trial.
Bill finally has a 3 day trial scheduled for January 26-28, 2022. He has had numerous lawyers and also represented himself in Family Court Matters. Also, Bill was forced to sell his home and used his retirement savings for legal fees while trying to keep his children in his life. Fortunately all involved,  they are. He has 2 children, his daughter is 11 and his son is 9.
We discussed what you can do if you are in a situation of Parental Alienation, recognizing early signs of Parental Alienation and how to correct these alienating behaviors.
Bill shared that being in the right Facebook support groups is extremely important and realizing that he was not alone in suffering through Parental Alienation and the Family Court System.
