Claire Wirth, Congressional Candidate For Kentucky 4th District, Speaks Out On Her Candidacy And Of Families Suffering Through Family Court

   Slam the Gavel welcomes Claire Wirth, Congressional Candidate for Kentucky 4th District. Claire was a foster mom and adopted her foster daughter July 7th, 2021. She has had her from birth, as she was born drug-dependent and was alone for 4 weeks in the NICU before Claire was called by CPS.
     Claire named this child Hannah, and adopted her just before her 2nd birthday.  For a short time, she also had her brother, but he was returned to his grandmother whom he has a deep bond with.
     Advocating for foster children and biological parents, Claire finds herself in many situations as she has stood in the gap for pregnant mothers that were drug/alcohol dependent and in need of assistance in getting checked into facilities, so that upon the birth of their child- they could then keep their baby and get on a healthy path or sobriety.
     Claire has also witnessed  horrible custody battles play out. The worst she has seen is actually an active case now where a local female Pediatrician -Dr. Stephanie Russell is in a living a nightmare in Judge Browns courtroom in Louisville KY.
     Claire Wirth is a worthy Candidate for Kentucky 4th District as she is not only concerned  but determined to keep families together and wanting to see CPS reform as well as foster care reform.
