On September 28th, 2025, Renata DeMello was on the podcast, Season 6, Episode 313, discussing the case of her childhood friend Giselle and how she was being held in L.A. County Jail on $500,000.00 bond. Giselle had been in the L.A. County Jail for the last three weeks and three days however in the beginning, she entered the San Diego jail September 5th.

     Giselle's bail had been lowered to $100,000.00 and she is now out. Slam The Gavel Podcast will be watching and updating this case.
