Tokyo medal highs and lows with Morgan Pearson
Morgan Pearson is an American professional triathlete who is really going places - after having a disappointing individual race, he went on to win a silver medal in the mixed relay event at the Tokyo Olympics. He comes from a swimming and running background, so he has had to work hard to master the cycling element of triathlon, but has achieved a lot in a short time, including his recent lightning-quick half marathon times. He is certainly an athlete to watch in the coming years.
Claire and I wanted to chat to him about how he has improved his cycling so quickly, how he dealt with the loss of his brother in the lead up to the Olympics, his DNF at Challenge Daytona and the highs and lows of an event which saw him walk away with a silver medal.
