Welcome to MFR: A New Perspective on Healing. This podcast is all about physical and emotional healing with myofascial release. 

My name is Liana, I’m an expert level MFR therapist. I specialize in pain relief and all things related to authentic healing of physical and emotional injuries and trauma. Taking the reins on your own healing and taking personal responsibility for your wellness is a very powerful move. What a great way to prove to yourself and to the universe that you are ready for healing. The truth is no one else can heal you - but you can heal yourself...and I can show you how, in virtual treatment.

I offer all kinds of different telehealth treatment options like drop in sessions, a weekly rehab program, virtual mentoring for MFR therapists and virtual intensive programs for those who need accelerated healing. In all these virtual treatment options I have found the distance does not actually take anything away from the healing in fact it can make the results much stronger. Because instead of relying on someone else to heal you, you are taking control of your health, you learn all sorts of advanced healing techniques and you now take a more active role in your MFR therapy.

In all my virtual treatments and programs we will use the most effective techniques to help you achieve your healing goals including myofascial release, fascial exercise, MFR rehab, MFR self-therapy, emotional healing, instinct training, inner journeying and more. 

We will:

In my Weekly Rehab Program I combine all the best aspects of MFR with other healing modalities I’ve created and gathered over the last 20 years into a comprehensive, awareness based healing plan tailored exactly to you. Each week I craft a one of a kind session for your current needs. Together we practice the techniques and exercises for your healing, answer your questions and work through any roadblocks we encounter until we’ve cleared the path for you to achieve your healing goals.

Over many years as a certified personal trainer, expert level myofascial release therapist and by working through my own healing I’ve gained an in depth knowledge of how to heal and relieve pain that I now use to help others. While working through my own healing I experienced how well meaning doctors and therapists of all kinds could not help me get back to feeling strong, mobile and pain free. I’ve also seen in my MFR client’s how myofascial release, while very necessary, is only part of a full healing plan. 

I created MFR Rehab and Fascial Exercise to give my clients a deeper long term healing than just MFR alone or any other single modality can offer. I bring together into one healing program, all the techniques needed to help you successfully accomplish your healing goals.

Over the years I found the missing pieces needed to bring myself back to strength and mobility and noticed how that dissolved the lingering pain I could never really shake even after fascial release relieved the pain short term and unwinding made me feel good for a while. But when I got back to daily life, those changes couldn’t hold for long because I was compensating, or using the wrong muscles, for so many daily actions. This would cause terrible pain and physical dysfunction. 

By releasing the fascial restrictions and reconnecting to the body then rehabilitating the muscles properly, correcting the compensations and exercising the fascia we can return the strength and agility to your body so that you can move easily and live pain-free. And we can strengthen your muscles properly so that daily actions and workouts can become more effortless and enjoyable again. We can help you tune in to your instincts so when your body says “I don’t want to do that - that’s not right for me” you listen. 

So we stop you from working against yourself and get you and your instincts working in harmony again...and that changes everything. You feel stronger, life is easier, you move more freely and with better balance both physically and emotionally. And maybe the best part is, if a pain or symptom should arise again at some point, you will know how to deal with it. So instead of a short term fix you’re learning long term life skills about how to take great care of your one and only body, relieve your pain and alleviate your symptoms. You will no longer be dependent on someone else to heal you. You are the only person who is always there, who can respond in an instant the moment a physical or emotional issue arises. It just takes some training and practice to learn to connect to your body, listen to its messages and respond appropriately.

In Single Session (or Drop-In) Virtual MFR Treatments via Video Chat we use cutting edge healing techniques to alleviate your pain and symptoms and help you move and feel better. The Weekly Rehab Program is designed to help you complete your healing and leave you feeling strong, balanced and mobile. It combines all aspects of Myofascial Release with the best in rehabilitation and mobility techniques. We’ll work through a full body program progressing each week towards your healing goals to make thorough and lasting healing changes.

The Intensive Virtual Treatment Programs have multiple meetings each week which let us make rapid healing changes and break out of patterns that keep you locked in pain and symptoms. We can replace those old patterns with new, healthy ways of using your muscles, moving and thinking. Intensive Treatment uses all aspects of physical and emotional healing personalized to your specific needs and is a powerful method of making lasting changes in your mind and body.

In Single Session MFR Mentoring we will refine your treatment and healing skills, build your confidence as a therapist and answer all your treatment and MFR questions. We can strengthen aspects of your work as a therapist where you don’t feel fully confident or that you’d like to improve.

The MFR Mentoring Program gives us regular meetings to help you really progress and come into your own as a therapist. Mentoring always teaches you the latest techniques for deep healing and supports your growth as a healing guide. We can build your skill set adding any missing pieces needed to help your clients come full circle and complete their healing. You will improve your ability to help clients connect to their instincts so that their own inner wisdom is guiding your treatments and learn how to guide them through their entire healing process.

All this and so much more can be accomplished through virtual treatment and you don’t even have to leave the house. Your home is a great place to master your healing because that is of course where you live every day. There is an old saying that “anyone can be enlightened on a mountain top”.
