Are you part of the "sandwich generation" and caring for aging parents while managing your household and children? The idea of a parent or loved one being diagnosed with MCI, dementia or Alzheimer's can be disheartening and overwhelming to manage.

* Get help from others. You cannot do this alone.
*If a loved one lives alone, assess the situation and get home care help or locate a community care facility.
*Advocate for your loved one's care. Don't be afraid to ask questions or even get a second opinion.

Important daily routines to support your loved one's health:
1) Drink plenty of water
2) Proper sleep. Get on a set sleep schedule
3) Nutritional support
4) Movement/exercise
5) Keep a routine in general
