What is Pilates? A body-mind exercise modality that works full-body in a non-impact way. Pilates focuses on strengthen and connecting all movement through our “core”, which includes the abdominals, back muscles, hips, gluteus, and even shoulder area.
My journey with Pilates began during my dancing years of graduate school in 1997. After 2001 when the practice became more accessible to the masses, I began teaching more and explored the Pilates equipment teacher certification.
