Goodbye comes in many different ways, at different times, and is part of the cycle of life. However, some people struggle to recognise the signs of the time to say goodbye.
The reason why goodbye is important to Living The Empowered Life is that in order to embrace the new you must say goodbye to the old things that prevent you from living it. The only time the old and new can coincide is on the transitional journey; then is the time to let go.
Matt 9: 16-17 - “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Old things can destroy new intentions.
