095 Peace of mind is what you need
The busyness of life, distractions, worries, and cares can be all-consuming. Whilst it is good to work hard, develop personally, and seek to live a better life, doing so at the cost of giving yourself and your mind a break can have negative effects. It is crucial to find a balance.
In this episode, I encourage you with ways to develop peace of mind habits
1 Peter 5v7: Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Psalm 46v1: God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
Roman 8v6: The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
Matthew 6v27: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
