Today’s episode is l’zeicher nishmas Eliezer ben Hendel.

Synopsis: Today we continue reading from Seneca’s letter of consolation to his mother, Helvia. This excerpt touches upon a number of themes without any common thread that I perceived. Some of these ideas we’ve never discussed and others are fundamental but expressed with Seneca’s unparalleled eloquence.
