In the Face of Evil, Only God's Truth Sets Us Free

God has equipped us with all the spiritual armor we need in order to prevail over our spiritual enemies. From the first piece of that armor (girding our loins with truth) to the last (the sword of the Spirit -- the word of God), we see the importance of truth. Our enemy is a liar and a deceiver. We are of the truth. 
Here's some good news: Truth wins the battle. Knowing this is how I can be so bold and confident when I'm challenged by skeptics on campus; I'm supremely confident that I'm on the winning side -- the side of truth.
But even though we have the truth, it seems the side of deceit and deception often wins the day. Why is that?
