What makes God's promises so precious and magnificent? 
For one, they enable us to become partakers of the divine nature. 
Think of that!
I sometimes hear believers say, "The only difference between me and an unbeliever is that I'm forgiven and they're not." I know what they're trying to say. They want to emphasize God's grace and mercy, and that's good. But if you believe in Jesus and follow Him, you are different. You are becoming a partaker of the divine nature!!!!
