It should have been easier, George Bush had freed the world of Communism and managed the fall of a superpower without having the world fall into violent chaos. A truly remarkable achievement in World History.

At one point George Bush had a 91% approval rating, By the end of 1992, he would lose his reelection bid. This is that story and in it you will see the foundational beginnings of the very "America First", "Make America Great Again" movement that so dominates our politics in 2024 in the form of Donald Trump. We will watch the changing of the guard as the Vietnam Generation leads a campaign in 1992 to transfer power from the generation of leadership that won the Cold War, to those who protested the Vietnam War in the streets of America . In the forefront of that campaign we witness arguably the greatest campaigner to ever set foot on the trail in Arkansas Governor, Bill Clinton.

Randal Wallace

Randal Wallace has been a political activist his entire life. He is a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College, and Lander University with Bachelor's Degrees in History and Mass Communications. He worked in the entertainment business, is currently in Real Estate Sales with Waccamaw Land and Timber Company in Myrtle Beach S.C. and served 4 terms on the Myrtle Beach City Council from 2002 to 2017.

He wrote a book, "Always Vote Your Conscience" , about his experiences and policy plans from his campaign for Congress in 2012. He now hosts two Podcasts, our sister podcast "The Richard Nixon Experience" a rebroadcast of our acclaimed Docu-Series on the Nixon years and our Podcast "Randal Wallace Presents" a Historical Documentary Podcast on Leadership, in both shows we hope of using examples of our history and Randal's unique perspectives to help resolve the divides now crippling our country.
