Soul Sunshine
What does it mean to become who we truly are? Soul Sunshine is an intimate podcast hosted by Sylvia Mather - creative producer, interviewer and conscious storyteller - exploring becoming and the stories that shape us. Through honest, emotionally layered conversations, Sylvia sits down with founders, creatives, leaders and seekers who are building, evolving and navigating the complexities of being human. Together they explore the turning points, doubts, awakenings and inner shifts that shape who we become, both personally and in the world. This isn’t about surface success. It’s about evolution. Each episode dives into the human experience behind growth, impact and spiritual expansion and the courage it takes to live the story you’re here to embody. Because becoming is a lifelong unfolding. #009: How Are You? The Importance of Checking In
I sat down with Lockie Cooke @lockiecooke from @_iyarn_ to talk about the importance of checking in with each other.
Mental Health and Wellbeing are such an integral part of us and we need it at least as much as our physical health in order to function well on a day to day basis. So why is there still a stigma attached to mental health and wellbeing and how do we integrate this conversation into our everyday lives?
We are talking about why Lockie created iYarn, what the platform offers and why Lockie is so passionate about supporting the conversation that is so desperately needed.
Lockie holds a wealth of knowledge and is incredibly passionate about supporting people to start a conversation, so we can support each other through the tough times while checking in with each other on living the best version of your life.
I really hope that this conversation will inspire you to go out and ask your people the question: ‘How are you?’. Really listen and hold space for what they are willing to share.
R U Okay Day is coming up on the 9th of September 2021 and this is such an incredibly important conversation to have. We are living in some very unpredictable and challenging times and checking in with each other and being there for each other is more important than ever.
