Hello, and welcome to today's episode. So this is a live recording of an Instagram live that I have done recently over on my Instagram, [00:01:00] Regan underscore fig, come and find me there. And chances are, if you feel as though you're so close to that next up level, to that next financial income bracket, to that next high ticket client signing up, and you're doing more and more and more to try and achieve that, it might not actually be the right thing to do for you. Which is great news, right?
Because I'm going to guess that you're a driven, ambitious woman who also wants to have spaciousness and pleasure and enjoyment in your life. therefore, I'm going to guess you've probably got a pretty full life and a full plate and doing more isn't the answer, right? So how great is that? Because what we're actually going to be doing is less.

Hello and welcome to today's impromptu live Instagram training. I'm going to share with you, first of all, that you're closer than you think. You know, to that next up level, that next income bracket, that next bunch of new clients. Thanks. [00:03:00] And the way we get there, perhaps isn't the way that you think. So, we're actually going to, I'm going to share with you how you can have more growth without doing more.
Which probably already feels a little bit confusing because chances are you have probably been like the rest of us in this society that glorifies and celebrates constant action and acceleration and achievement. you probably feel as though like being more productive creates a more of a result, but that's not the case, which is great news because I'm going to guess, I'm going to guess that if you're watching this and hello, if you are, or if you're catching the replay, I'm going to guess that you're already very ambitious and driven and you've probably already got a really full life and you also aspire to being a pleasurepreneur.
In fact, you probably already are. In the sense that you want to increase your level of enjoyment, you want to increase your level of spaciousness and presence and time with your family and friends and to do the things that you love. And so therefore, [00:04:00] this is great news because you can reach your next, let's just call it like your next level of growth, whatever that is for you right now, you can reach that by.
Doing less and not by doing more. And so I'm going to share with you that today. So first of all, if you are catching the replay and you are, or you are on the live, say hi and come let me know what's happening with you in your world in the sense of. What is your next up level? Is it your next high ticket client?
Is it your next sense of like reaching that new milestone in terms of like perhaps a monthly income? Like what is your next level of growth for you? Maybe it's a greater impact. Maybe it's getting a whole bunch more people into your next free offering. Let me know, what is it for you that you want to achieve?
What's your next level of growth? So chances are, if you're feeling like, Oh, gosh, I feel like I'm so close. And by the way, you are, you are so much closer than you think. And the reason I know this is because [00:05:00] when you're at this point where you're like, Ooh, you can almost like feel that next client coming in that next level, level of growth.
And so then your brain starts to tell you to like, take more action, do more content. Do more launches like more, more, more take more action, right? Let's sum it up is that when you're at this place, that's what your brain is going to want to do. And so therefore you're gonna be like, look, I got to do more.
I've got to get busier. I've got to be more productive. But that is not what is required at this point. Yeah. So first of all, just reminding you and sharing with you. You are so much closer than you think. Yeah. And second of all, chances are you are feeling like you need to be doing more, even though you feel like you're already doing so much.
this is, this is like a thought error. This is something that will actually have us pressing on the accelerator. So I shared this recently in my stories. When I used to coach as purely a pleasure coach for women, I would help them to, I would help them, [00:06:00] like, experience that turn on. I would help them to cultivate and generate more of their desire.
And just like you. In business and what I'm about to share with you today, desire is a dual control model. So what I mean by that is dual control means like there's two controls, right? So let's think of it as like an accelerator and a break, or if it works for you, you can think of it as like, uh, an on and an off, but I'm going to use the example of like an accelerator and a break, right?
And so chances are if, if you ever wanted to really turn yourself on, chances are you have probably thought like, Oh, okay, so I'll buy the lingerie and we'll book the date nights and we'll. We'll schedule the one on one time. Like a lot of that stuff, like the taking action, the doing is pressing on the accelerator.
Yeah. However, if you're not considering what's on the brakes and you've got a lot pressing on the brakes, no matter how much you put onto the [00:07:00] accelerator. You're not going to move anywhere, yeah? You're not going to be able to generate that turn on. You're, you're going to be spinning your wheels and you're not going to move forward.
so it's the same in business. If you want to get to that next level, that is done by being turned on. That is done by like feeling excited and motivated and like naturally pulled and drawn. To that next level versus like, Oh, I've got to sit down and like write more content and more content and like more stories and like, Oh, and then we start to worry about engagement and all the things.
Right so business is the same if you are wanting to move forward take that next like leap of momentum forward reach that next up level chances are it is not done. Through doing more chances are you're already doing so much more chances are you've got so much pressing on that accelerator and like you're keeping like adding to that accelerator [00:08:00] without considering what's on the brakes.
So how do we look at this from like the lens of business how do we ensure that we are creating that that sweet spot. You know, like I'm thinking about when you're starting to learn to drive and it's like the accelerator and the clutch, like, how do we get that sweet spot where there's just enough acceleration and the break is like easing off or like, in my last example, the, you know, the clutch to move us forward, how do we find that balance?
Because, yeah, obviously we don't want to take our foot completely off the accelerator and then just like relax and do nothing and expect that we're going to create results. I mean, I'm sure that works at some point. We need to have rest breaks, right? But ongoing, we need to ensure there's that balance. . So how do we do that? first of all, I want you to consider all of the things that your brain is telling you you need to be doing more of, yeah? And number one, if that's working for you, if you're like, [00:09:00] Oh, this feels really fun and it's exciting and I am feeling turned on and it is creating momentum and it feels really good and I can see the results coming in great, like keep going if that feels good for you.
But if you're at that point where you're like, Oh my gosh, how much more can I do? I've only got a certain amount of time and energy and capacity. And even if I did have more, I don't want to be doing more. Yeah. If that's you and this is where you're at now, you need to listen into this and grab it like a notepad and pen because you're going to want to work out how to improve this for you.
Cause it feels really good and effortless. Okay. So. We're looking at finding that balance between the accelerator and the brake. If you're trying to reach that next level of growth, you're probably putting a lot of stuff onto the accelerator, but there's a bunch of stuff pressing on the brake, so it's not going to be able to move you forward.
This is the part where we feel frustrated. Where we feel like, ugh, is it ever going to work? Where we start to like, doubt ourselves and second guess [00:10:00] ourselves. Even though deep down, we know we are going to succeed at what we're doing. Even though we know that our work is valuable, even though that we know we help our clients create results.
Right. But this is that like, Oh, this is the uncomfortable part where our wheels feel like they're spinning. Yeah. And that's because we've got so much pressing on the accelerator and on the brakes, so it's like our wheels are spinning. It's not fun, it's a waste of energy, there's a lot of brain stuff going on, it might even feel like the wheels are spinning in your brain, yeah, you're probably getting a lot of mind drama, and it's not great, you're putting in a lot of effort, a lot of force, but not getting anywhere, here is the thing, so, the problem, to start with, is that we're not reaching that next level, even though we're doing the work, your brain will tell you that like, oh, you just need to do more, But the real problem is, there's too much on the accelerator, and we're not taking enough off the brakes.
So I want you to consider, what is it that is pressing on the brakes? Now chances are, if you're putting on so much on that [00:11:00] accelerator, then I would say what's happening over on the brakes is there's stress, there's feeling like you can't ever be present, like you're probably dropping the ball. you feel like you're missing moments with your loved ones and missing moments to yourself.
you probably, like really squeezing a lot in a lot of time and not leaving any space for any actual rest or breaks or enjoyment for yourself. Yeah. what else is pushing on those breaks? Maybe like the sense of like, if you're thinking that you need to take more action, then chances are, there's probably a lot more pressure pressing on the brakes, like figuratively, and like in this analogy, literally, right?
We're talking about pressing on brakes. So I want you to consider what is pressing on the brakes. Yeah. Is it stress? Is it trying to fit too much in too little time? Is it having such really high expectations of yourself? Is it setting goals and then realizing when you reach that, [00:12:00] say the end of that time for when you wanted to create that goal and you haven't achieved what you wanted to achieve in that time, then like being really unkind to yourself, yeah, being really critical of yourself and is what also is pressing on the brakes, I'm going to say is probably a bunch of mind drama, you know, I call it mind drama, it's like where it is.
Yeah. We kind of spiral and we like think, Oh, like I am not good enough, or people won't ever hire me, or I don't know what I'm doing. Yeah, so much of that can be pressing on the brakes. So We need to consider what's on the brakes. It's going to be different for everyone, but it's probably a very similar flavor for those of us listening who are coaches and mentors wanting to help other people and make more of an income from our own services.

So what do we do now? We consider what's on the brakes and we start to take things away. But this is where I come in. This is where I come in because I'm able to assess looking at what's on the accelerator and what's on the brakes. And help you to see all the things that are pressing on the brakes.
Yeah. And I'm going to help you to actually restructure your business. Now it doesn't need to sound, it sounds like a really scary process. It's not like we literally just looking at what your offerings are. Who your ideal client is and how you're speaking to your ideal client. and therefore how, like how you're selling your offering.
Yeah. Part of the restructuring we do, or part of the tweaking we do is looking at what it is that you're [00:15:00] offering and who you're selling to and how you're selling and are all of those things, are they pressing on the accelerator or the brakes? How can we find that harmony? So for example, if you're really forcing yourself to share an offer.
That doesn't compensate you for your time and your energy and your presence away from the people that you love and, you are talking to or trying to call in clients, just like anyone that you think that you can get because, you know, you don't feel like you can be picky. so then you start to work with clients who aren't actually your ideal clients and then you start to feel drained.
Yeah, that's also going to be adding to the breaks. You're feeling drained, you're feeling like, oh, it's obligation. so we look at your ideal client as well. We also look at like how you're selling. if you have been shown or trained or like taught how to sell in a way that feels really pushy or icky to you, or on the opposite end of the spectrum, if you've just been told like you just need to be [00:16:00] inspirational and people will reach out to you, if you have been.
Trying to sell your offerings in a way that doesn't feel aligned for you in a way that doesn't feel enjoyable for you in a way that doesn't feel like simply just like having a conversation with your ideal client to help them create the results that they're looking for. Then of course, if you're trying to sell in a way that doesn't feel good for you, that's pressing on the brakes.
Yeah, like just even that energy of, um, obligation, like that feels heavy in itself. So there's some of the things that we look at. Now, typically I do a pleasure in business audit with my one on one clients. The first session we have together, this is typically after we have a consult call together and I have a look at what's going on in their business.
The first thing we do together is an audit where I audit for all of those things. And sometimes there's more to order in there as well. I audit for looking at the balance of accelerators and brakes. And just this week, I have just [00:17:00] shared with my mailing list that I'm decided to offer five free pleasure in business audits.

Yeah, I want to ensure that those people who are in the right place in their business right now will get the most out of this. So apply. I will audit your business, but you're going to leave with recommendations, at least three recommendations. Of what you can do to start to remove some of those things that are pressing on the brakes.
I think sometimes there might be confusion with the work that I do when I talk about like prioritizing pleasure, pursuing pleasure, weaving like more enjoyment into your business. I think that [00:18:00] sometimes, there might be that confusion that's like, oh, I just need to take more bubble baths and I just need to like work less hours and.
That can be tricky because if we're taking more bubble baths, it's like, okay, more things we've got to add to our plate. That's more stuff on the accelerator or like just, having more breaks. I don't just like, I think that's really great, but it's not just about kicking back and doing nothing either.
So yeah, there's probably a bit of a confusion that, okay, am I doing nothing or am I going to have to do more? And it's kind of like in the middle where we find what are those things that are pressing on the brakes. And so you'll leave with at least three recommendations. Where you're like, Ooh, okay, I can do this.
I'm not adding more to my plate. And I'm also not just like clearing my entire schedule, picking back and expecting my business to grow on its own. You're actually able to start to remove those things that are on the break. So you start to get that forward momentum. And like, cause here's the thing, if, there are any elements in your business, whether that's the structure of your business, the operations of your [00:19:00] business.
the elements of your business, like your offers, who you're speaking to, how you're selling, if there's not pleasure threaded through those pieces, if there's elements there that do not please you, that will create resistance. For example, as I was talking about before, if you're offering something that actually doesn't light you up, if you are trying to call in clients who drain your energy, who aren't the right clients for you.
If you're trying to sell in a way that's not in alignment for you, like all of those kind of things create resistance as in, like, it creates barriers. It creates like this energetic, speed hump or like an energetic barrier to get past in order to sell what it is you're offering. Whereas when we do our pleasure and business audit together, you're going to come to a place where you have.
You know what it is that you are offering and it absolutely pleases you your I your your you know who your ideal client is and you can't wait to work with them you see the value of what it is you're offering so much so that you have this energy of like [00:20:00] shout it from the rooftops energy like I have to get this into people's lives like people have to do this work it is so good it's so life changing.
When you have that kind of energy, when you start to really work out where that balance point is, that sweet spot that creates your turn on, you can't not sell what it is that you're offering because you're excited because you want to sell it because you want to work with the clients you adore because you are so, confident about your offering that you want everyone who needs it to sign up.
Yeah. So. This is what I'm offering for our pleasure and business audits. So you're going to walk away with some of those recommendations, but you're going to have a really clear view as to like, what's not working for you in your business right now. part of it probably is, like I said earlier, trying to do more.
but also maybe it is that you are trying to do more of the things that don't turn you on. You're trying to do more of the things that are adding to the [00:21:00] accelerator and not taking away from the brakes. You're trying to do more of the things that feel like obligation and energy draining and, you know, like shoulds.
So you'll come out of that session with so much clarity and some, like the exact next steps to take. Yeah, it's like actually letting yourself have that creative freedom and those moments that are stress free where your sympathetic nervous system comes up with really clever ideas or because you're experiencing such presence, you're able to see such incredible opportunities. Or because you're feeling really good in yourself, you're feeling really confident to reach out and have those like personal reach outs with people.
