Alma-Constance Denis-Smith

Alma-Constance is an award-winning young pianist, podcaster and passionate about social affairs. She studies piano with Julia Klimek at the Junior Academy, Royal Academy of Music in London and is a student at the Lycee Charles de Gaulle in London. As a pianist, she has won over 40 competitions, both in the UK and internationally. She is the 2023 Maidstone Young Musician of the Year. Since she turned 10, she has been co-hosting Kids Law, a podcast which discusses how law affects children as they grow up with guests such as Baroness Hale, the Lord Chief Justice or the Met Commissioner. She is fluent in three languages and enjoys fencing.

Lucinda Acland

Lucinda has been a volunteer with First 100 Years since 2015 and is the host of the First 100 Years podcasr.  In 2021 she started co-hosting Kids Law with 10 year old Alma-Constance Denis-Smith, with the podcast exploring how law affects children as they grow up. 

Lucinda is a qualified non-practising lawyer, with 25 years experience in the legal sector, both as a solicitor and as a litigation support/IT lawyer for international law firm Lovell While Durrant (now Hogan Lovells). Previously, she was the Community Manager for Obelisk Support, responsible for engaging with consultants on a day-to-day basis to match them to client assignments. Prior to that, Lucinda was the Social Media Manager at legal services provider, Riverview Law and worked as Legal Content Manager for The College of Law (now University of Law), creating their online CPD course, COLmedia.
