Episode #89 5 Myths & 5 Tips for the Pelvic Floor
Sep 21, 2022
Sarah

Today, I had the opportunity to talk with my friend Veronica Lane, founder of WellBodyPT2. She is a Physical Therapist who specialize in pelvic floor therapy. Yep, that's a real thing and is helping so many people. Pelvic floor imbalances are one of the most common struggles that includes leaking urine, painful intercourse, urinary urgency/frequency. We get told that if we struggle with any of these after giving birth that it will just "get better", or we just assume that is what happens after having a baby and I am just stuck. I am here to tell you there is hope for healing!

Veronica teaches all about the pelvic floor by giving us the tops 5 myths and top 5 tips to support our pelvic floor. She is passionate about educating people of the importance of deep diaphragmatic breathing, the proper way to pee and poop, and so much more. Veronica is an absolute delight and I hope you enjoy this conversation. I hope that it leaves you feeling empowered in your health and realize there are options if these are things you have been struggling how to handle.

Please look up Veronica on her social and share this episode with all of your friends with a pelvic floor. P.S. that is literally everyone you know. Like, share, and help continue to spread awareness and encouragement for those mommas out there that are struggling.
