Hello, and welcome to the first official episode of the Drunk Astrology Podcast. Now, let me be clear, I have been recording and sharing podcasts since 2022, but over the past four plus years, this podcast has seen many different iterations, different titles, different intentions. However, with the Drunk Astrology Podcast, we are coming back to basics. We are coming back home to why drunk astrology exists in the first freaking place. And that's because astrology should be fun. First and foremost, it should be a good time. And it should also empower you with information that you can apply practically to your life each and every day. So in this podcast, we are going to discuss so many different ways in which you can practically use astrology to your advantage to enhance your personal, your professional, your relational lives, because that's where the juice really lives with astrology. It lives in its practicality. It is essentially astrology, is essentially math and science. We are looking at planets. We're looking at the angles of which they are connecting with each other, the angles at which they are connecting to the planets in your birth chart. And then from that, deciding how you should best move using that energy. So astrology doesn't have a dead end road. There is always an opportunity in every single transit. She's already on our, we're already talking some speaking some words, okay? You might want to write that one down, right? Every single transit has an opportunity. So even if you're in something that a more traditional astrologer might say, Oh, you're in a difficult transit. This is gonna last a year, or this is gonna last X amount of time. There is so much more you can do with every single transit, every single season of life that you're in through the lens of astrology shows you your way through, shows you how to move with it, how to apply it practically to help move your needle forward to help you, especially in the work that I love to do, help you achieve your goals. So whether you have really strong personal goals, whether you have really strong goals with for your career, and whether you have really strong goals for your relationships, astrology is a tool that you can use to enhance and optimize all of your goals. Now I know it because I've been using this shit for been I've been using it for over 12 years and then working with clients over the past, what, since 2018? So what are we what are we looking at? Eight years. So just know that astrology is so much more than some AI generated content that you are resharing to your Instagram stories every day. It is so much more than the horoscopes you're reading in a magazine, it is so much more than that because you are so much more than that. And today, in this debut episode, we are gonna be talking about the very important distinction that needs to be made when it comes to this new era that we are in as humans, which is the AI era. And something that I know a number of people are doing. So the first episode, you better believe we are gonna talk about why ChatGPT and any other AI engine could never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever be your astrologer. So if you've ever plugged in your birth chart into Chat GPT and then, like, you were thinking, like, well, oh, I get it now. Okay, that totally makes sense. You and I need to have a conversation because what you're getting when you are plugging in your birth chart and then asking for some kind of analysis or asking for some kind of guidance, you are getting surface, surface, surface level information. And let me also be very, very clear. A lot of the times the information ain't right. Okay, now in some cases, I mean the information's not right because it's simply not correct, it's not the actual analysis that you should be getting based on maybe a transit that it's pulling out of your chart, or maybe, you know, you're talking about a transiting planet visiting one of your houses. I have played around with AI in so many different scenarios to see like, am I gonna be out of a job? Like, is drunk astrology gonna like go away? And let me tell you, time and time again, I am constantly reminded that absolutely not, won't be coming for my job, won't be coming for the job of other astrologers because oh, AI could never replace us. Okay, so because this information that you're getting back is surface and potentially just all the way wrong, that's exactly why you can go to AI, plug information in, ask it for analysis, ask it to give you guidance, and you still feel stuck and you still feel confused. You still feel like, well, let me go like let me go DM the astrologer I really like, because like maybe I'll get some extra insight, or let me go like book a reading. That's already your first indication that AI chat GPT will never replace your actual astrologer. And let me be really clear about my position here. I am not anti-AI, I am very much pro-astrology and pro nuance and pro showing you and showing us as a humanity, as as human beings, that we are layered. There is nothing that an AI generation can give you that will honor the whole of you, okay? And that's what we astrologers are out here trained to do, right? We can pick out the nitty, gritty aspects, the nuanced things in your chart that really define a probably like seven-layer deep version of you that an AI tool could never, right? And sometimes, and oftentimes, you couldn't even find the language for that side of yourself, but an astrologer can. So I want to be very clear too, because like this is this is a hot topic, right? I use AI all the time, okay? It helps me plan, it helps me organize, it helps me map out my weeks, my months, my days, it helps me get my priorities straight. It helps me say, like, hey, you've got those two Oracle card readings this week, which means you have to deliver by this date. So, what I think we should do is we should move your live, your live moon phase manifestor call. We should move that to this, and then you should do like this to be like a really big content output day. It also helps me come up with amazing recipes for just food to make here at the house, right? Like it just gets me together. I love it so, so much. I love it as a tool, but I do not love it as some kind of stand-in astrologer. All right. So, what I really want to do today with you is show you where AI stops and real astrology begins. Okay. And so, first up, the thing that you need to realize about AI is that it is pulling from all sources, and that means really great, high quality content that was written by really good astrologers, and it's also pulling from amateur astrologers, outdated interpretations, and also just straight up bad takes on astrology. Okay, because not all astrology is created equal. Here's the other thing you have to know about astrology. There are so many different systems. You could be asking AI to give you an analysis for Mercury being in your ninth house. But if you don't tell it like use the Placidus system, use the whole sign system, use Vedic astrology for this analysis, then you're gonna get whatever you're gonna get, and it's gonna be an amalgamation from mixed quality sources. So you don't actually know the quality that you're getting. And when you're not as familiar with astrology as someone, like I'll use myself as an example because it is the drunk astrology podcast, someone who has been studying since 2000 freaking seven, you know, like you're gonna get like you can't quality control what you're getting. And you might just be like, yeah, cool. Like that, yeah, okay, like it doesn't really land, but I I don't, I don't know, I guess maybe. And then you move on, right? And then you see something online, and then you're like, oh yeah, that that's a cute little mantra. I'll just reshare that to my stories, right? But it's not actually landing. So the first thing I want you to know is that AI is pulling from everything with no filter on what's top-notch, what's outdated, what's amateur, what's a bad take. I let me tell you, there were a couple teachers in my my path to becoming my own astrologer that I mean, I paid good money to learn from, and I literally had to say, like, I am going to discard this information because I do not believe that that is true. And I have actually seen time and time again that it was just a straight up bad take on astrology. And it was a hard stop where I really feel like and truly believe in astrology as a tool for empowerment, among many other things. So, even tough transits, yes, they might give you a season of life where difficulties might be present, right? But when you understand the nuance of the challenging time, you understand how you can move with it, how you can get support through it. Astrology is not a dead end road, ever, ever, ever. And so the second thing that I really want you to take home is that experienced astrologers, like as in practicing astrologers for any amount of time, five years, 10 years, 20 years, 50 years, with experience comes pattern recognition. I've been reading charts literally, like at a high level for the past 10 years. And like before that, like at parties, you know, while I was on tour, you know, it was it was what I called forever my party trick, right? I would go to these like behind the scenes, why am I blanking? After parties. We would do a show, you know, in front of 40,000 people at an arena in Paris, and then go to these after parties with celebrities like Mark Jacobs and Quentin Tarantino was backstage at the and at this, well, at the time it was the staple center. Now it's the crypto.com arena. And that was my in. That was my way of talking to people because I was nervous sometimes, especially when it was like, oh my gosh, these are like people that I really know, love, and respect. And so I'd be like, hey, what time were you born? And it was my way in, right? Like, oh wow. Once I found that one person to lock in on, I would just do a little quick little mini read, right? Like, oh, look, your sun is this, your rising is this, and like Venus and Mars are conjunct in your third house. Like, whoa, let's talk about it, right? But with experience, you start like an experience, meaning like you have put astrology on its feet. You have done readings with real life human beings for a period of time. So just in the decade plus experience, decade-long like experience of reading charts at a high level with clients, I have developed so many formulas that really sum up the chart, aka the person, the client as a whole, right? Because astrology is so layered, it is so textured, it is so nuanced, but because I have seen so many charts, and I have seen the person who holds that chart that lives with that chart, I have noticed patterns in placements, in transits, in angles, in aspects, in where planets live and what signs planets are in, and like how like each person becomes like wait, even though this person was a Scorpio sun and that person was a Capricorn sun, like their Venus signs were the same. Whoa, and I could see it, like, but it was a layered connection. I have found ways that like really make sense that you can really apply to like whoa, every single chart, there's this pattern, there's this sequence, there's these experiences that people have that are very similar, even though their charts can be different. And these formulas come based on those pattern recognitions. AI has access to information, but your real life astrologer has access to decades plus long experience, to patterns, and to recognizing how they all fit together. Now, the third thing is actually really fun because I have real time, I have a real time example here because this week with my one-on-one coaching clients, we have been talking about how they can use Venus and Gemini to move the needle in with using their goals, right? Like they all have very different goals, but two of them, I was inside Telegram with them talking about how they each have Venus and Gemini currently, the transiting Venus and Gemini, transiting their second house, which is a peak money-making transit. So I began our conversations on Monday going like, okay, took a look at your chart. Venus and Gemini is transiting your second houses, and we should talk about how you can use Gemini, Venus, and second house themes to generate more money in your life, in your business. Like, let's talk about it. Where are you right now? Give me the context of like, how was your weekend? How are you feeling today? What would you like to focus on this week? And so I also, for the sake of this debut episode, I asked Chat GPT how to use this transit. And now it gave a lot of word garbage. Okay. It gave a lot of words that sound really fancy, but I pulled these two points. Talk more equals earning more, and the other one, monetize your message. Talk more equals earning more, and monetize your message. Well, you know, that sounds good, but it is so incomplete. I didn't just tell my clients to talk more and they'll earn more. No, we talked about like what because one of them has her own hypnosis business, right? We're talking about like what do you have going on this week? Oh, you actually have three calls with new clients. Okay, well, interesting. Here is a strategy for talking about your sessions with your clients in a way that will attract more new clients into your hypnosis business, right? I gave her the context to give someone on social media. I gave her the strategy for pinpointing the pain point that her client was facing. Talk about what she did and talk about how it created a desired outcome so that someone watching her post could go, like, oh my God, I didn't know that you could do that with hypnosis. I want to inquire about a session for myself solving my problem. Right? We talked about offers, we talked about what felt natural, plus where where they needed to be pushed. We talked about any kind of self-worth blocks and like finding value in their voices, and that is where you get colors, you get textures, you get nuances working with astrology like this and your birth chart, right? Because all of our charts are so layered, they are so textured, they have so many nuances built in there. So if you're getting talk more equals earning more and monetize your message, well, you can't really do anything with that, right? But when you are human to human and also working in a coaching container with me, like all of my coaching clients, we're in 12 month-long containers together and we're working together every week, right? So I have learned them, they have learned me. We have so much commonality and common ground. I have so much understanding of who they are as a whole, the holistic views on their lives. So when we connect, I'm not gonna just go and say, talk more and you'll learn more, right? Especially when I know, like, oh, well, this particular client has a difficult time, like feeling like what she knows is valuable, right? And so I get to, as her coach, reflect back to her how valuable she is, how smart and how good at what she does, she is, right? And so there's that like that motivation piece, that confidence boost, that challenge, like, yes, that might be true, right? There might be some self-worth blocks, there might be some value blocks. However, a challenge to share anyway, overstep that block and watch what happens. And so that is really where I want you to see how AI will give you a general strategy or a general take on what is happening in your chart, but I'm going to give you, as your astrologer, as your astrology coach, I'm going to give you how to execute based on who you are as a whole, and also all of the nuanced ways in which a transit, just one, this is just one little transit, Venus and Gemini, how you can use it to optimize your personal, professional, and relational goals. Okay. And so, you know, I just in essence want you to take away not only that AI is a great tool, but it is not a replacement for an actual astrologer. I want you to also know that you're not just, you're more than just your sun sign, right? You're you're a whole system. You're a whole operating system with all of these different parts, 12 planets, 12 houses. And that all means you have subtleties, you have textures, you have different points of view. Some of us are walking paradoxes because our sun sign is one thing, but our rising sign says a completely different thing. And then our moon sign is like, whoa, wait a minute. How do we balance between these very three different perspectives? So I want you to know when you work with an astrologer, you're going to understand. I can't speak for all astrologers, but I can speak for myself. When you work with an astrologer like me, I'll say, you will see how you operate at your highest level. And sneak peek at your highest level also includes like where you need support. Trust me, your boy got his own coach last year, right? The very end of 2024, beginning of 2025. Because that was a blind spot in my chart, right? Needing the support of someone that I highly respect, someone that I really value, that I really know is gonna take me to the next level, right? And so that's another great thing about understanding how your operating system works at its highest potential. Highlighting where you need support. Okay. So let's see, do I wanna okay? We we talked about that. I'm just reading, I'm reading through my notes. Okay, cool. So that's that's my main, that's my main beef with using AI to be some kind of stand-in astrologer. Not it. Yes, for a tool for optimizing your scheduling, for doing like the grunt work behind the scenes that you just struggle with, right? Like even running a household. You can use AI to re the plug-in, kids' schedules, your schedule, hubby schedule, anyone else that is a contributor to the household. You can put all of that together in AI and go like optimize my week, and then holy cow, what it can do for you. Love AI for that. Using it as a fake astrologer, baby. Hopefully by now you realize absufri not. All right.
