We met to celebrate L’Entente Cordiale, whose anniversary falls on 8th April.
Listen to Alastair discuss the Foundation’s extraordinary historical mission. We trace its beginnings back to 1914, when British philanthropists succoured French soldiers wounded during World War 2, through to its vital work today dedicated to social inclusion and disability support.
Many of the Foundation’s activities revolve around the kitchen, accompanying young people into the professional world while building confidence and community.
Alastair also candidly admits to a New Year culinary faux pas and shares his favourite British pudding—another fascinating vestige from the war years.
