Show Notes

Welcome to Anxiety at Work --> We hope the time you spend with us will help remove the stigma of anxiety and mental health in the workplace and your personal life.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • whatever difficulties we may have faced in the past, every one of us can develop more resilience
  • Why it is important to embrace failure
  • there’s a connection between sports and life—especially how we think.

Our guest today is Joel Green. A successful man and a former professional basketball player, many would look at Joel Green and define him by his successes, but the truth is, everything worth having is worth fighting for, which is exactly how Joel got to where he is today.

Green made the difficult decision to step away from his athletic career sooner than he anticipated, and he pivoted to launching Pro Level Training. Pro Level Training is partnered with Nike delivering camps and training for youth athletes. The connection Joel was able to make with Nike allowed his company to expand more rapidly, and has also resulted in motivational speaking engagements, where Joel presents to business owners, entrepreneurs, and young audiences.

Today, in addition to running Pro Level Training, Joel is the National Director for Nike Sports Camps, as well as an accomplished speaker. He was honored to speak to thousands and deliver his own TED Talk
