I am Athanasia Houvarda, and I am a fatal car crash burn survivor from Greece. In Greek my name means immortality and of course I don't think I am immortal, I am not even sure if I wish to be, but in 2001 I beat the odds and watched my life change in one split second.I was severely injured with 3rd and 4th degree burns on 74% of my body. But on that day, I lost a lot more than my healthy skin, I lost my friends, I lost my identity, I lost my marriage and my business and my whole world was shattered into pieces.
