Howdy fellas, My name is JD Cardinal and I’m from BC Canada. I’m currently over here between Forth Worth and Austin visiting my sister who shows horses full time. Back home in Canada we run the piss n vinegar outta black bears just like yall run hogs down here. We have some curs, and a buncha long eared stuff that’s too dumb to quit. Both of which we've found are important to gettin a big one stopped or tree'd. We also run lynx and lions in the winter. But running bears is what really gets us fired up. Had a few hairy situations over the years but nothing that doesn't come with the territory of runnin big ol bruins through the snow capped mountains. In other words, we get after it just like yall. I’ll be swinging by Uncle Earls this month. I had intentions of bringing some dogs down for it this year but didn’t get our ducks in a row for that. Next year we'll be bringing a box full. Thought I’d shoot you boys a message and see if you’re doing any hunting before or after uncle earls and if I could tag along for a day. See how you boys get down. Listen to your podcast often and really enjoy it.
I had a silent treeing walker back in the day that if it bayed 10 hogs by hisself 8 or 9 ot better would be boars
afternoon gentlemen. Do you guys go on hunts when invited throughout the country and if so is central Florida to far for y’all?
He guys you keep saying come go hunt so here you go. My dad has pursued swine the last 40 years, I just started three years ago and am hooked. We run plots and that’s all he has ever hunted. I would love to come hunt with you guys and see how the cur dogs hunt because I very interested in mixing them in my pack or maybe even get me a couple. I am open minded to anything and want to learn and help promote the sport. Anyway thank you guys for what you are doing you have truly been a blessing just listening to the podcast.
