They Hated Me Without A Cause

Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This is 15 Minutes with Jesus. Wherever two or three are gathered together in My name, Jesus said, there am I in the midst of them. To those of you who love Him in truth: mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Thank you Father in Jesus’ name. Thank you Lord. We praise you; we thank you for this program. Today’s program is called, They Hated Me Without A Cause. Let’s turn to Isa 53:1-12, Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we hid, as it were, our faces from Him. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living. For the transgressions of My people He was stricken, and they made His grave with the wicked—and with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the travail of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. He is despised and rejected of men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we hid, as it were, our faces from Him. He is despised and we esteemed Him not.

Mat 10:21&22, Jesus said to His disciples,  Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. Mat 24:9&10, Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Ok, let’s go to Luke 19:11-27, Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately. Therefore He said: A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, Do business till I come. But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. And so it is today: many will not have this Man to reign over them. Jesus told this parable, very clearly referring to Himself and to His coming Kingdom.  And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then Jesus rewarded each one of His servants according to their works, and in verse 27 He said, But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.

In John chapter 7, it was the Feast of Booths, and Jesus’ brethren said to Him, Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing. For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world. For even His brothers did not believe in Him. Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.

In John 17, Jesus was praying to the Father concerning His disciples, and in verse 14, He said,  I have given them Your Word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

Psalm 21:1-13, The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord, and in Your salvation how greatly shall He rejoice! You have given Him His heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of His lips. For You meet Him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon His head. He asked life from You, and You gave it to Him—length of days forever and ever. His glory is great in Your salvation; honor and majesty You have placed upon Him. For You have made Him most blessed forever; You have made Him exceedingly glad with Your presence. For the King trusts in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Most High He shall not be moved. Your hand will find all Your enemies; Your right hand will find those who hate You. You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. Their offspring You shall destroy from the Earth, and their descendants from among the sons of men. For they intended evil against You; They devised a plot which they are not able to perform. Therefore You will make them turn their back; You will make ready Your arrows on Your string toward their faces. Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength! We will sing and praise Your power.

Psalm 22. Psalm 22 is all about Jesus on the Cross. Verses 6-8, But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised by the people. All those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!

Let’s go to John 15. Jesus is speaking to His disciples in verse 16, You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My Word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, They hated Me without a cause. Psalm 35:7, For without cause they have hidden their net for me in a pit, which they have dug without cause for my life. Verse 12, They reward me evil for good, to the sorrow of my soul. Verse 19, Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies; nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.

Why do they hate Israel? Why do they hate the Jews and seek their destruction? It is because they love darkness, for their deeds are evil. Israel is the seed of Abraham, and in his Seed, which is Jesus Christ, shall all the nations of the world be blessed. Jesus is the light of the world. Jesus is the truth. Out of Israel came the Law of Moses: what is right and what is wrong; out of Israel came the Savior of the world: in Him, and only in Him, is eternal life; out of Israel came the Word of God; the Word of God is the truth. They hate Jesus without a cause because He testifies to the world that their deeds are evil, and that the wrath of God will be poured out upon the wicked.

Jesus loves you. He loved you and gave Himself for you to suffer and die upon the Cross at Calvary for your sins; to save you from the wrath of God that is soon coming upon the Earth. And because He humbled Himself unto the death of the Cross, to do the Father’s will, who so loved the world that He gave His only beloved Son to die for all our sins and to save us from this present evil world, the Father has given Him a name above every name, that, at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord, in Heaven, on the Earth, and under the Earth, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus is Lord. This is what they hate. They hate Him because He is Lord, and they will have to bow before Him and confess it some day. Jesus is also the judge of all men. Every one of us will stand before His judgment seat at the end of time, and He will render to every one of us according to our works. Jesus is the Son of God, and He is a Jew, and He is Lord over all the Earth. This is why they hate Him, and this is why they hate Israel. Now they have no excuse for their sins.

As God said to Abraham, In blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of Heaven, and in your seed, (the seed of Isaac, the child of promise), shall all the nations of the Earth be blessed because you have obeyed My voice. Gen 22:16-18, By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

Jesus said, in John 8:42, If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. If you hate Jesus; if you hate Israel, your father is the Devil, and you do the deeds of your father.
