This is part one of a multipart series I mapped out while sitting in the Pucallpa airport waiting to start my 24 hour journey out of the jungle and back into civilization.

I recently led a group of pasajeros into the jungle to sit with Mother Ayahuasca, and this trip exceeded all expectations in every way. It was my first time leading a group like this solo, and it was quite an experience. 

Stay tuned to hear more lessons from the medicine that were imparted to other members of the group during their ceremonies, some tales of my own experiences with the medicine, and other wisdom gleaned from my time with the indigenous Shipibo people down in Peru.
