Hey, It's Loren from the alignment, expand podcast, I want to let you know that I'm going to be doing a little bit of talking about two minutes worth just talking to you about why we're doing this meditation visualization. If you don't want to hear that, skip ahead about two minutes. Today, I will be guiding you through a visualization to help support you achieving your goals. So as you know, if you are a listener, this entire month, the last two episodes, we've really been diving into self doubt, as well as what is holding you back from your success. So underlying all of that is really your goals and what it is that you're trying to achieve this year in your life, or whatever. As I've mentioned before, on the podcast this year, for 2023, we're starting this new thing, coaching in a pocket, basically, so you're gonna get a podcast where I am talking to you about something, you're going to get an affirmations podcast, and you're going to be getting a meditation podcast. And the goal of the meditation podcast is for you to be able to spend time visualizing what it is you're trying to create, when it comes to what we've been talking about. Visualization is a really powerful tool to start to create new connections in the brain, and you are rewiring and supporting the brain because your brain doesn't know the difference between real and make believe. And one of the things that makes it hard for us as humans to step outside of our comfort zone is the fear of the unknown. But when we're visualizing, we're actually making it really familiar to our brain. And that fear that could be stopping you starts to settle and starts to be like, Oh, this is okay for us. So that is why we're going to be doing a lot of meditation visualizations. This isn't necessarily to get you into a meditation practice, this is to get you used to visualizing and spending time doing this. So go ahead and start to find yourself in a comfortable position. And I don't mind if you're laying down or if you are sitting up. And you can be leaning against something, just make sure that the spine is straight. It's not veering off one direction or the other, or with your shoulders forward. And as you begin to settle into this position that you're going to be in for the next few minutes, make sure that you're starting to be really mindful of how you're moving, connecting to your present movement as you start to move the body intentionally.

And once you feel settled, go ahead and close the eyes or take a soft gaze, whichever feels best for you. We'll start with just taking a deep breath in through the nose. And then exhale, letting it out the mouth. We're gonna do that again. But this time, we want you to think about creating this in breath that expands 360 degrees around your body so that all of you the front of you, the sides of you in the back of you, expands as you inhale. And then as you exhale, everything comes back in. When you're ready, inhale 360 degree breath. Act exhale, letting it all go. One more time, inhale through the nose. Expanding everywhere, exhale, letting it all go. And I'd like to invite you to start to visualize seeing yourself at the end of the year. And when I say visualize know that everyone has a very unique experience. You may actually see a picture you may have a knowing or a sense or just trust that it's there whenever you experience is exactly right for you. So we are moving forward in our timeline and we're connecting with New Year's Eve 2023 or whatever year you may be listening. And it's the morning of New Year's Eve and you've decided that you are going to wake up and you're going to journal so you wake up. Maybe you get your favorite morning beverage and you settle into your favorite place. One where you feel like you can connect with your higher self effortlessly because it's cozy. And it feels like home. And you decide to bring out your favorite journal. And you're opening up a brand new journal, one. And you're finishing up your journal, it's the last entry of the year. And you decide you're going to write about everything you accomplished this past year.

Feel yourself, they're thinking about all of the things that you've accomplished. So as you're writing in your journal, You're reliving these moments that you have accomplished and one by one, you relive them. Everything you set out to do is happened. And it happened even better than you could have ever imagined. And when you sit there, and you think about those moments as you relive them and write them in your journal, I want you to tune into what those moments felt like when you reach those goals. Tuning into the feelings that you have within your body

and the feelings that you share with others. noticing what's around you. So what you see, in each one of the scenarios that you have when you're writing down the goals that you accomplished.

As you begin to open up your journal, you're going to be writing down with so much pride and enthusiasm, everything you accomplish this year. And you sit back to the first goal that it is that you accomplish, what you set out to do. And you remember back to what it was. And you begin to relive the experience as you're writing it down. Starting it with this year, I did and then fill in the blank with your visualization of what you accomplished. Seeing yourself in this first goal that you met seeing what you saw when you knew that you had the goal and you knew it was reached. Hearing what you heard and tuning in to feeling what you felt

letting all of those senses become alive with the experience of reaching that goal.

And then when you're ready, move on to the next goal that you accomplished. Just as though that's the end of the year and you're recalling everything that you did and relive that goal the exact same way tuning into the moment you knew that you reach the goal. What it is that surrounded you what it is that you felt and heard or maybe even smelled around you in the environment that you are in.

mudding your senses fill with the vibration of gratitude and fullness and expansion of that moment.

And then moving

on to your next goal. Knowing that you can come back to this moment in your journal in the future, and catch as many dreams and goals that you create it down into your journal

and after you've finished writing down, everything you accomplished, you close your journal and you feel within your body what it feels like as you close that journal and sat down the pen you're writing with how proud you are of yourself. Find it in your body. Where is that pride? Where does it live within you? What are the sensations that are present when you are so proud of yourself for what you've done, and the way that you tried and the way that you stepped out of your comfort zone. Lock those sensations into your body. Know that you can come back to this place of pride anytime you need to feel the confidence in yourself that you can accomplish what you want to do. All you have to do is find it in your body and let those feelings amplify.

Before you end this moment, you say mentally three things that you are so grateful you accomplished. Wording them and present tense as if they've happened I am so grateful I did or I am so grateful I accomplished this

and then repeat

after me. I am capable of doing anything I want to do. I am met to make an impact in this world. I only need to believe in myself and take small steps towards my goals. And everything will unfold in perfect timing. Take a deep breath in through your nose. Exhale, letting everything else begin to just connect with the feeling of your seat on the surface below you sensing the outline of your body maybe noticing any aromas in the room that you're in. Lastly, tuning into any sounds that are around you.
