let's be real. Building a wedding business is hard, not because you're doing it wrong, but because you're doing something big. And I know right now everything can feel really heavy. Clients are demanding. Cashflow is tight, to be honest, you're probably questioning whether you even wanna do this anymore. I've been guilty of being there many times, my friends, but I need you to hear this. The most important skill you'll ever learn as a business owner Is staying committed even when your motivation disappears. So if you're in a season that feels heavy right now, this episode is for you. As you may have guessed by now, this is not my typical episode because usually I'm here giving you all the strategies, tips, and tricks on how to grow and scale your business. But part of being able to grow and scale a successful business is understanding how to push through adversity as a business owner because. Every single business goes through times of super high. Everything's easy, everything's working. And also that valley of despair where you just think, I'm not cut out for this. I can't do this. I clearly don't know what I'm doing. And it's there in that valley of despair where true success is created because that's where you're being refined, that's where the sandpaper is coming in. That's where diamonds are made, is under pressure. So I want you to understand that these times of trial in your business are only gonna make you stronger if you learn how to push through them. So in this episode, we're gonna talk about a couple of different ways that you can do that in your business, If this is the season that you're in right now, and if it's not, if that's not where you are right now, we all know that is where we will be at some point. So I would encourage you to continue listening so you can come back to this episode when you need to hear this message. Okay, so number one is you don't need a good day to be a great CEO. You've planned weddings in hurricanes, you've dealt with difficult clients, you've likely even had venue changes or other crazy scenarios all within 48 hours of a wedding. You're already capable of leading under pressure, but the problem, we wait until we feel inspired to take action like somehow. This CEO mood has to show up before you can be great. Spoiler alert, it doesn't. The difference between a good business owner and a great business owner is their ability to lead even when they don't feel like they want to. The wildest part is this. We push through the adversity. We handle so much under pressure for our clients, but when it comes to our own business, when things get tough, we wanna throw in the towel and give up. if you wanna scale, you have to learn to lead even when you're tired, especially when you're tired. Number two is that hard seasons do not mean that your business is broken. this is something I preach over and over and over to our members inside of Wedding Pro, CEO, because sometimes business is hard that doesn't change. As your business grows, you'll continue to grow, grow, grow, go through hard seasons, get to the top, realize, oh my gosh, this is it. This is so much easier. And then. The next growth starts, right? And so then it gets hard again. And then it gets hard again. So what I want you to understand is because it's hard, means that you're growing. It means that you're building something bigger than what your business already was, and that's exciting. I know it doesn't feel that way all the time, but when you're learning something new, when you're having to really push through something, that means that you're building something exciting for your business. I see so many wedding pros that mistake pain for brokenness in their business But you don't get stronger without tension and you don't get clarity without pressure. You're not failing. You're being shaped and molded into something so much bigger than you already are. The chaos that you're feeling right now just may be the foundation of your next breakthrough. So do not give up right now. I want you to get in a community of CEOs that can build you up, who are doing the same thing that you're doing, who are building the dang thing alongside you. I want you to understand that Oftentimes when you're in this valley of despair, it can feel so lonely like everyone else has it figured out because social media is the highlight reel. that's why being in community with other CEOs who are building alongside you and can share, not only, Hey, I'm there to, but also, hey, I was there three months ago and here's what I did to get out of it. Right. And so I wanna invite you, if you're listening to this and you're like, this is me. One of the first things we talk about inside of Wedding Pro CEO is how to manage through the Valley of Despair, because it's so real for so many CEOs. oftentimes when CEOs come into our program, it's because they're in this place of like, I don't know what else to do for my business. And we love digging in with them, coming alongside them, giving them the strategies, the tools, the resources, but also helping to. Pour into them and encourage them with our community of over 200 other wedding business owners. So if you're listening to this and you're like, I need that, I need that community. I wanna be part of that strategy and that community that's gonna build me up and help me to push past this to really push into that next era of my business. I wanna invite you to apply, to join us. You can head over to wedding pro Tell us a few quick things about your business. And then book a call with our team where we can walk through where you are in your business right now and help you to know how we can best help you to really reach that next era in your business. Again, that's wedding pro ceo.com/application, and we'd love to learn more about your business and how we can help you come into your next era. Number three is to endure what others won't, and this is so huge. I do a lot of episodes talking about how to be part of the 1%. I want to encourage you to do the things that most other business owners aren't willing to do. That's how you find success. That's how you become part of the 1%. Here's the truth that no one tells you. Most people quit before they find success. They book out one season, then hit a wall and walk away. But the ones who built six and seven figure businesses. They didn't out talent everyone else, they outlasted them. You want the real secret in building a successful wedding business? Keep showing up. Even if it's messy, even if it's slow, even if it's just one scary decision at a time. Because the longer you stay in the room, the fewer people there are to compete with, I can tell you that from experience CEO. After 18 years in this business, I promise you that people come and go. But the ones who stay steady and keep grinding and keep building are the ones that find the greatest success. and number four. This last one is to zoom out. So often we are deep in the weeds of our business and we forget about last year or the last five years. We are only looking at the mistake that happened yesterday or the chaos that you're currently sitting in. But if you were to zoom. And look at the last 365 days of your business look at all of the things that you've done right to get you to the place that you are now. I promise you, your outlook on all of it would change. you've already survived 100% of your worst days so far, the business owner you're becoming in the process is so worth it. If your 85-year-old self looked back on today, would you be proud of what you're building? This is the chapter that you'll tell stories about. It's what makes you who you are as a business owner. Make it a good one. So here's your reminder, CEO. You don't need motivation. You need a mission. You don't need clarity. You need action. Take action today. And you don't need a perfect plan. You need consistency. Show up every single day in your business. Let this be the day that you decide not to quit. because I promise you, if you keep showing up, even when it feels impossible, you will become the leader that your business needs it to be. If this episode hit home for you today, I want you to do two things for me before you log off. Number one, just shoot me a DM that says, I'm all in, because I wanna know that you are all in on your business and I wanna continue to encourage you. number two, send this episode to a wedding pro friend who you know needs to hear right now because we're all in this together. And if you're listening to this and you know that you want help, you want a community that can walk alongside you, give you the strategies, give you the tools, the resources. And the encouragement to build something so much bigger than you can even imagine possible for your business. Head over to wedding pro ceo.com/application and fill out an application to book a call with our team so that we can dig into your business with you, help you find those gaps, and give you the strategies that you need to grow and scale at your wedding business. thank you so much for being here every single week, and I'll see you next time.
