"Huddled Masses"
The numbers-they were astounding.
The show of solidarity amazing.
The level of pushback of those not in agreement was present, but nowhere near as large as expected, nor as vociferous as feared.
The NO KING'S DAY of protests were comprised of numbers that were unimaginable throughout the land-even in so-called red states. Those states whose citizens played a large part in securing a second term for their purported savior.
"Huddled Masses"
is a piece that I was inspired to write to extol the demonstrators that gathered to express their displeasure in Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska and many other locations that the republican party writes off as "in the bag" during elections. Their level of frustration was on full display and served as an amazing exemplar of what becomes possible when the actions thought to affect only "those" others, surprisingly starts to hit closer to home.
The loss of personal healthcare, the closure of clinics, the cut to SNAP benefits, and more importantly tariffs- has led people to take to the streets in civil peaceful protests against the current president, his administration, and its seemingly wanton disregard for the average citizen. Even those who were critical to the success of his campaign
As I indicated in past episodes-what we are now witnessing is the precursor of what's to come.
However, we should not become despondent nor dismayed-FOR WE the true patriots of these states united will emerge victorious. For the righteous have never been forsaken, nor their seed left begging for bread.
Of this, I am personally certain!!
OUR SPIRIT...LIVES!
PEACE!
