Connally holds both a BA and MT in English from the University of Virginia (also in Charlottesville) and her MA in Theological Studies from Regent College (Vancouver, BC), where she served on the Board of Governors for nine years. Serving locally, nationally, and internationally with the US Navigators, through her speaking, writing and mentoring, Connally brings the warm, strong, and revelatory light of Jesus Christ -- often through the confusing questions surrounding singleness, sexuality, gender, loss and race -- to the hearts and minds of women and men. As the author of “Revelations of a Single Woman: loving the life I didn’t expect” (Tyndale, 2006), and co-author, with Paula Rinehart of “And Yet, Undaunted:  Embraced by the Goodness of God in the Chaos of Life” (NavPress, 2019), Connally's continued journey around many unexpected curves has deepened the authentic faith which she joyfully offers to others.

Matthew and Joanna Raabsmith are clinicians, speakers, and authors of the book Building True Intimacy: Creating a Connection that Stands the Test of Time. They have over 20 years of combined experience in counseling, coaching, and guiding couples toward healing and transformation. Their mission is to help couples navigate the complexities of relational challenges, particularly in the aftermath of sexual addiction and betrayal trauma, fostering deep restoration and growth. Matthew is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF) with a background in pastoral leadership, while Joanna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR practitioner, and Certified Clinical Partner Specialist through APSATS. Both hold Master of Divinity degrees and have served together on multiple church leadership teams.

For over a decade, I have been honored to accompany clients as they take courageous steps toward hope into deeper healing. With extensive training in trauma and attachment work, I will work creatively, compassionately, and collaboratively with you to integrate your sense of self with your story and foster a greater connection with others.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Eastern University, a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland, as well as an educational background in music, theology, and philosophy. I am certified to provide board-approved clinical supervision as well.
