An Envoy is a diplomatic representative or messenger on a diplomatic mission. This podcast is exactly that. A podcast, for the planet. Your host Andre Borell is the Founder of the Envoy Foundation, and an impact documentary filmmaker, whose first film shared the same title. Our first few episodes will be limited to campaign updates on our No Shark Cull / Nets Out Now campaign, fighting against shark culling in Australia, a practice that has been happening since 1937. This was the subject of the documentary Envoy: Shark Cull (2021), and the spark that started the Envoy Foundation. From 2023, Andre will use this podcast to interview a diverse range of guests who have a critical message on behalf of our planet, across the Envoy Foundation's five missions: climate, earth, animals, ocean, freshwater. With a fireside chat feel, Envoy features deep-dive conversations with the brightest minds in conservation, activism, science, business, politics and much more.
