I've been a federal public land arch for about 26 years now. Two agencies, the USFS for about 13 years, and now finishing off my 14th year with the NPS. I've been a park manager during that time, running a resource management division for a small NPS unit located on an Indigenous (Lake Superior Ojibwe), reservation, and completely co-managed with that community under the park's enabling legislation and the 1994 Tribal Self Governance Act. Im also the ad hoc reservation arch and CR consultant to the tribal council and THPO. Anyway, I resonate so much with your podcast and episodes like this it's insane. This stuff is critical and so necessary right now. Please keep up the profound work you do. I'm going to start supporting this effort, (next pay day). Thank you for all you do.

Hi 😄Love the podcast! Wondering if y’all would be willing to put a reading list together of some of the books you mention but also books (historical and recent) that are good for researching/deep dives?

Hi Tales From Aztlantis! I have recently started listening to your podcast as I am in my own journey to get back to my indigenous roots and I absolutely loved you episode 26: The immaculate deception! I was wondering if you would recommend any books with this kind of history that I could read for myself as well? It's so hard to find history, especially Mexico's history that isn't so biased towards colonizers. Thank you so much for everything that you do, and you have gained a new fan!
