Rev. Dr. Beverly Dale

The Rev. Dr. Beverly Dale, founder of the Incarnation Institute for Sex and Faith, Rev. Bev is an ordained Christian clergy who has spent most of her thirty years of ministry helping people reconnect their spirits and their bodies, and confronting sex-negativity in the church and culture. Dale was an ecumenical campus minister at the University of Pennsylvania for over two decades. She founded the Incarnation Institute for Sex and Faith in 2014 whose mission is to teach clergy and sexologists an inclusive, science-friendly, sex-positive Christianity. The Institute and Rev Bev have celebrated sexual diversity and have explored the intersectionality of race and sexuality. She is the co-author of Advancing Sexual Health for the Christian Client: Data and Dogma along with Sexologist, Rachel Keller and has a new book released in 2024 entitled Who Told You You were Naked? Meditations on the Sexual Body.

Rev. Dr. Lisa Barnett

Dr. Lisa Barnett is an Assistant Professor of American Religious History at Phillips
Theological Seminary (Tulsa, OK), arriving in the fall of 2018. Lisa earned her PhD in U.S. History at TCU in May of 2017. She earned a Master of Theology in American religious history from Brite Divinity School (Fort Worth) in 2012 and a Master of Divinity degree from Brite in 2008. She is also an ordained minister with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Lisa has an essay in Border Policing: A History of Enforcement and Evasion in North America, edited by George Diaz and Holly Karibo from the University of Texas Press in 2020. She has a chapter for another edited collection titled “Oklahoma Women Lead the Way into the KKK,” forthcoming with the University of Oklahoma Press.
Her own book titled Peyote Politics: The Making of the Native American Church is being published by the University of Oklahoma Press and will be out in spring 2025.

Rev. Kelly Perotti

Rev, Kelly Perotti is an Ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) currently serving Central Christian Church in Bourbonnais, IL. Rev. Perotti earned her Master of Divinity Degree at Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of New Mexico.
