Hello Magical Human and welcome back to Madison Mindset, the podcast. In this episode we are going through a beautiful meditation. To practice surrender, you will need a quiet space, somewhere to sit, something comfortable, making sure you're warm and supported. We need to be in a seated position, even if that is on a chair or on your bed, ideally on the floor, on a cushion or a block, a meditation cushion, just something in a seated position. Find the right position for you, making sure that you have the time to see this meditation practice through to the end. If not, save it for a time where you can relax and be here now. I'll meet you in meditation.

Speaker 1:

Find stillness. Make your body tall and long, steady and relaxed. Keep the eyes closed. Keep them closed for the duration of the meditation. Make a silent promise to yourself now to keep yourself still, to keep the eyes closed for the whole meditation practice, even if you want to open the eyes, even if you feel the need to fidget or adjust your position at all, no matter what. Make the commitment now to be still, completely still.

Speaker 1:

Allow everything to be exactly what it is moment to moment. Let everything be exactly as it is moment to moment. Exactly as it is moment to moment, let any sensation be as it is in the body, let yourself be as you are, let life be as it is, exactly as it is, allowing any sound, any disturbance, any smell, any feeling to simply be part of the experience. We're not pulling, we're not pushing anything away or towards us. We're just simply allowing everything to be as it is, moment to moment, moment to moment, moment to moment, beginning with one Aum, silently in your mind or out loud with me Inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, inhale, om.

Speaker 1:

Focus on the breath. If your attention moves away from the breath, simply direct it back to the breath, silently affirming in your mind Exhale, surrender, Inhale, peace, exhale, surrender, inhale, peace, exhale, surrender, continue, continue. Thank you, thank you, thank you. No-transcript. Deepen your breathing, allowing any movement in the body that wants to happen, allowing a natural breath and finishing together with an om Inhale, completely, om, aum. Thank you for being here.
