Hello Magical Human and welcome back to Madison Mindset, the podcast. I am your host, madison, a yoga teacher, mindset and spirituality coach and a complete lover of all things, life and learning about myself and about the world. This episode is going to be focused on physical healing related to the heart. Your mind and your emotions have more connection to your health and the physical health of your body than you may understand, and it is something that we should learn and look at, because your body has to go through all of the chemicals that we call emotions when we feel them, and it has to deal with the baggage of each thought as it generates a mental feeling, a mental pattern. So it is really important that we learn how to help the body and if we're feeling any kind of physical manifestation, any kind of illness, ailment, disease, it is important to not only, you know, visit your doctor and obviously get the help you need. It's important to look at what emotions, what mental patterns have I been dealing with throughout my life that perhaps could contribute to this condition or this pain or this problem or these you know, for the heart specifically, we're doing today. So the heart palpitations or racing heart, high blood pressure, low blood pressure feelings with headache or circulation problems. You know all of these. It is great to take some control over your health and help in the best way that you can, obviously alongside doctors if and when you need them. So, before we begin with some beautiful affirmations that I'm going to get you to repeat, ideally out loud after me, because that's very strong, but if you need to do it in your mind, that's okay. This is the perfect episode for you for any kind of heart healing, whether it is physical, emotional or mental, with the heart, anything that's going on with you Now.
Speaker 2:I wanted to begin by reading. I've done a little bit of research to find out what exact emotions are linked to the heart health and what's been proven. So I wanted to read directly from Google here so that you can hear exactly what some of these emotions may trigger in the body. Negative emotions, such as grief, guilt, regret, anger, unforgiveness and loneliness can negatively impact heart health by affecting the heart rate, blood pressure and inflammation rate, blood pressure and inflammation. When these emotions are suppressed or hang around for a long time, it can disrupt the flow of energy in the body, leading to physical manifestations of heart disease. Positive emotions associated with spirituality, such as love, compassion, forgiveness and connection are linked to better cardiovascular outcomes and reduced stress.
Speaker 2:Now, stress is one of the biggest killers in our world. When you are under stress, what happens? Your heart rate goes up. Your heart rate goes up. It's a stress response in the body. Okay, that's very basic. Look at it. But when you put the heart and the body under stress, it makes sense that your heart is impacted from that. The more you hold on to that stress, the more you allow that stress to stick around. You don't do any work to get rid of the stress or to change the way you're living your life so that your body is not so negatively impacted. The more stress will be in the body, leading to more negative outcomes in the future.
Speaker 2:Okay, so we're going to go through an affirmation practice for healing the heart space. If you're doing this in the car or while going about your day, you can repeat in your mind or out loud if it's possible, but you will not be able to do the full practice with us if heart health and heart healing is a really big thing for you, or those emotions I just read out. You know the guilt, regret, anger if they are things that you deal with on a regular basis, then you can take this episode as a practice episode and use it for your own healing, use it for the support and healing of your body. When you're ready and you're with me, find a seated position or a lying down position, if that's better for you, and we'll begin together. Bring your palms together in front of heart space and gently rub the palms together, rubbing the palms together, creating a little bit of friction in between the hands. A little bit of heat in between the hands. A little bit of friction in between the hands, a bit of heat in between the hands. Hold your hands a couple of inches apart and imagine a glowing green light in between your hands, a beautiful, bright, glowing green light. Gently press your hands over the top of your heart space, imagining that ball of light to sink into the chest and into the heart space. This light carries all things love, kindness, love, unconditional love. It carries so much beautiful energy that it is able to overcome any negativity, any Any old or stuck emotions within the heart space. Anything the heart has had to deal with. It is able to gently soften that. Keep your hands pressing onto your heart space, feeling that green light, warm the chest and bring lots of love, compassion, respect, kindness, connection into the heart space. Close your eyes, if you haven't already, and repeat the following affirmations out loud or in your mind after me I invite healing into my heart space, healing into my heart space.
Speaker 2:I invite the powerful healing energy into my heart space. I allow the healing energy of love, compassion, kindness and connection into my heart space. I relax my shoulders and my jaw. I relax my chest and my heart space. I soften my arms and hands. I soften my heart. I welcome love. I welcome love into my heart space. I welcome compassion. I welcome peace into my heart space. I welcome kindness. I welcome kindness into my heart space. I welcome forgiveness. I welcome forgiveness into my heart space. I welcome softness. I welcome softness into my heart space. I welcome connection. I welcome connection into my heart space. I welcome unconditional love. I welcome unconditional love into my heart space.
Speaker 2:I welcome the process of letting go. I allow any emotions or old patterns of the past to leave my heart space. I allow any and all symptoms of grief to leave. I exhale grief. I allow guilt to leave my heart space. I allow all symptoms of guilt to leave my heart space. I exhale guilt. I allow regret to leave my heart space. I allow all symptoms of regret to leave my heart space. I exhale regret. I allow loneliness to leave my heart space. I allow all symptoms of loneliness to leave my heart space. I exhale loneliness. I allow resentment to leave my heart space. I allow all symptoms of resentment to leave my heart space. I exhale resentment. I exhale resentment. I allow anger to leave my heart space. I allow all symptoms of anger to leave my heart space. I exhale anger. I let go of all that no longer serves. My heart rate and blood pressure are steady. I am calm. I welcome the following emotions to fill my heart space completely.
Speaker 2:I call love to my heart space. I call kindness to my heart space. I call joy to my heart space. I call compassion to my heart space. I call compassion to my heart space. I call laughter to my heart space. I call connection to my heart space. I call unconditional love to my heart space. I call unconditional love to my heart space. I call gentleness to my heart space. I call freedom to my heart space. I relax my heart now. My heart is healing. My heart is healing. My heart is healing, healing, taking a deep breath in through your nose, a long sigh out smile and slowly making your way back into the day.
