Hello Magical Human and welcome back to Madison Mindset the podcast. My name is Madison. I'm a yoga teacher and a mindset and spirituality coach. I am so passionate about guiding beautiful humans such as yourself back to the magic of life. The mind is a magical place. It is forming and creating, shapeshifting your reality in every moment. And if we tap into this power, we can create a life of magic, of joy, of peace. If we're not aware of the mind, then we may end up stuck in a negative loop, which, of course, is just not worth it, because life is too short and too precious to not be magical. Worth it because life is too short and too precious to not be magical.
Speaker 1:In this episode we're going to be doing a beautiful meditation for practicing tapping into the magic within your body, the magic of life. So I invite you to find a space to sit, a quiet place where you can close your eyes. So this is not the episode to do while driving, but you can also go back and do the last Friday episode, which was affirmations for a magical mind. So you could definitely do that one while driving, as long as you keep your eyes open. But for this one, really important that you can find a space to sit and join me with a moment of intention If you would like to go a little bit deeper into this practice and add a journaling session on to the end. Speaker 1:Be still and be present. Be still and be present. Allow your body to settle into a relaxed seated position, let your eyelids close, arrive, taking a deep breath in through the nose and a long breath out. This is your time to reconnect with the magic that already lives within you. Take a slow, deep breath in through the nose. A long breath in through the nose, a long breath out through the mouth. Again, breathe in deeply and sigh it out, letting your shoulders soften, the jaw soften, the heart softens. Feel the weight of your body resting on the earth. Let the weight of your body lean into the ground below you the floor of the earth, anchoring you on the soil, on the strength of the earth. You are held, you are safe. You're part of something vast and timeless.
Speaker 1:Now begin to notice the sounds around you, near and far. Each sound is a part of this present moment, part of life. There is no good or bad sound. There are just different sounds that are creating the symphony of this moment in time. See if you can hear the music hidden in the sounds of this moment. Feel the air against your skin, the natural rhythm of your breath moving in and out. Notice your heartbeat, steady, alive, carrying you through this moment.
Speaker 1:Feel the magic within your own body, the life, the intelligence, the wisdom. Behind your closed eyes, you may sense light, colour shapes or even a soft glow on the inside of the eyelids. A soft glow on the inside of the eyelids. The more present you become with this place behind the eyelids, the more this seemingly ordinary moment reveals its inner magic. Bring your left hand gently over your heart, right hand over the upper belly. Take a deep breath into your hands.
Speaker 1:Imagine a soft light glowing underneath the palms of your hands, like starlight, slight glow. With every inhale this light grows brighter with each exhale, it expands softly through your body, this loving, healing, nourishing light. See this light as the magic of healing, of self healing, the body's own intelligent healing system. See it filling your chest, your arms and your legs, illuminating every cell until you are shining with your own healing magic. This light is your own healing essence, the same essence that comes from every part of life, mother nature, the universe creation. Life, mother nature, the universe creation. The same magic that forms the stars, the oceans, the forests and the fire of the sun. You are made of this magic. It has always been within you and it will always live here with you.
Speaker 1:Now, imagine threads of light extending outward from your heart, connecting you to the earth, the sky, the people, the beings, the animals, the trees, the rivers, all parts of life. Feel yourself as part of this great tapestry of existence. You are not separate at all. You are woven into it, part of the story, part of life. Every breath you take is shared with the trees. Every heartbeat is connected to the rhythm of the earth.
Speaker 1:Find the truth of your connection here, now, silently or out loud, if you can whisper to yourself I am magic, life is magic. I am magic, life is magic. I am magic, life is magic. I am magic, life is magic. I am magic, life is magic. Breathe those words into your body, let them find a home in your heart and, when you're ready, deep in your heart. And when you're ready, deepen your breath, wiggle your fingers and your toes, moving the wrists and the ankles. Feel the aliveness in the body and, when it feels right, softly open your eyes. And when it feels right, softly open your eyes, bringing with you the memory, the understanding of the fact that you are magic and the whole of life is shimmering with possibility in every moment.
