Walking On Air
Navigation for Nordic Walkers with Nicola Sproson
Show Notes

Today I’m talking to Nicola Sproson, of Hiking Highs, based in Glenridding, on the banks of Ullswater.  Regular listeners will remember Nicky, as she was an early guest on Walking On Air, sharing great advice on nordic walking in the mountains and how to use your poles to stay safe and enhance your enjoyment on steep terrain.  Not only is Nicky a qualified NW instructor, but she is also a mountain leader and Navigation coach delivering training to clients who want to complete the various stages of the National Navigation Award Scheme, NNAS for short!.  She has returned to talk to us today, to offer advice to those nordic walkers, ramblers, and hill & fell walkers who want to take their walking up a level and venture off the beaten track to explore hidden corners of countryside.
