Your intuition can be crystal clear and still make zero logical sense at first. We meet that frustrating middle ground head-on: the moment you feel a strong inner knowing, your mind demands evidence, and self-doubt rushes in. I talk about why intuitive information often arrives before any “proof” shows up, and how learning that one truth can soften anxiety, reduce second-guessing, and help you make better decisions without forcing certainty.
We dig into the signs that your intuition is real and accurate: calm clarity, a steady neutral tone, and repeated gentle nudges that keep showing up over time. I also explain the difference between intuition and fear-based thinking. Fear tends to feel urgent and pressuring, while intuitive guidance feels grounded, simple, and non-dramatic. If you have ever felt pushed to act fast, spiral, or chase a perfect answer, you will recognize how quickly urgency can throw your nervous system off balance.
We also bring the body into the conversation with practical intuition training you can use right away. Your somatic signals like openness, ease, and calm breathing can point to alignment, while tightness, heaviness, and contraction can warn you that something is not supportive. We talk about why meditation, mindfulness, yoga, journaling, quiet mornings, and even shower “aha moments” can make intuitive perception easier to hear by lowering mental noise and creating space for clarity to develop.
If you want to strengthen your gut feeling, trust your inner guidance, and feel more grounded with psychic intuition and everyday choices, listen through to the end. Subscribe, share this with a friend who overthinks, and leave a review with the clearest sign your intuition has ever given you.
When Intuition Defies Logic
SPEAKER_00Hello and welcome to another episode of my podcast, Soul Talk and Psychic Advice. Today we are going to explore something that many people experience but rarely discuss openly. And that is receiving intuitive information that does not immediately make logical sense. You may have had moments where you felt strongly about something. You sensed something was changing. You felt drawn towards a decision. You felt hesitant about a situation. You felt clear internally, but cannot explain why. I've had moments like that. I'm sure just about everyone has had moments like that. And often the thinking mind responds with this does not make sense. Why do I feel this way? What if I am wrong? Intuition often provides information before proof appears. And you know, for people who go, Well, I have a science mind, I'm all into science, um, they're not going to feel comfortable with intuition. It's going to feel weird to them. But it's interesting. I could tell you from being in this field and going to many seminars that are spiritually related. A lot of scientists go to these seminars because they know that there are some things that just can't be explained. And I mean, medical doctors, engineers, researchers, I've seen all kinds of people at spiritual seminars because we know that something bigger is out there that doesn't always make sense immediately. And so if you feel uncertainty, just give it a moment. Sit with it, you know, and and see why you have uncertainty or or have you ever, you know, followed your gut and it just worked out. You know, some people say I just knew to follow my gut, and you know, it comes together. Some people live like that. They live with following their intuition. I do most of the time. You know, a few things I may check out, like when it's a big move or when I bought a home, but y you know, yeah, it's it's basically how some people live because it resonates more than having scientific proof for them. So today we're going to explore common signs, intuitive information is accurate that you are receiving, why intuition often precedes logical explanation, because often it does, and how intuition feels in the body. Yeah, and why intuitive clarity can feel subtle, and how to build confidence in your perception. Intuition often arrives before explanation. Understanding this can reduce self-doubt. You know, and so you don't have to you can get an intuitive message and you can sit with it, you know, but know that it often comes before there is a true legitimate explanation for what you're feeling. And so once you understand that, you would doubt less or question less or get caught up in, well, I believe in science and facts only. You know, because if we can live a little bit with our intuition, I think we can enjoy life more. You know, instead of just waiting for facts and waiting for evidence. Some things you have to, but not with everything, right? You know, little subtle things you can follow your gut on, and as you build confidence with it, you could do that even more as time goes on. Now, let's talk about how intuition often feels calm and clear. One common sign that intuition is correct is the feeling of calm clarity, even when the information feels unexpected. Intuition often feels steady, neutral, simple, clear, non-dramatic. It may feel like a quiet knowing, like you just know. Some people go, I just know. A simple internal statement, gentle sense of direction, a subtle feeling of certainty. Even if the decision feels unfamiliar, the internal signal often feels grounded. The calmness of intuitive information often distinguishes it from fear-based thinking. Because what is fear-based thinking? It feels urgent, it makes you doubt yourself, it's not like steady the way that intuition is. I always tell people that you know our intuition from spirit guides or God or angels or wherever do not feel urgency with situations. They just don't. They rarely do. And so it's something that you don't want to get caught up in that I can force an answer, I can force this knowledge, I can read for myself. Because if you do that, you get really stressed out and dysregulated, and you could lead yourself in the wrong direction. And it could turn into fear, fear of making a mistake, fear of you know being wrong. And you don't have to act on your intuition. You can just let it sit until you feel more comfortable with it. Never feel pressure to act on your intuition, because there is no need to feel pressure, but it is a muscle, right, that you want to exercise, but do it slowly with small things. You know, some people have done it with big things, like they knew they're meant to move to Europe or you know, somewhere else, or they just knew that they needed to take a big leap. Sometimes they know that with the person that they're dating, they just knew they were gonna marry them. Yeah, you know, those are big leaps, and you could take your time, of course, with anything. Don't let urgency get to you because it could stress you out. And so remember it is without forcing urgency. The repetition often feels subtle but persistent, and there are subtle persistent moments, right? I had the when I knew I was meant to leave Los Angeles and move to the Bay Area, you know, the it just kept on showing up, and so I did kind of leap with it, it worked out, you know, it was fast moving, and that's because I was at a place where I was using my intuition to guide me, even though I wasn't working as a psychic at the time. I just knew certain things and I went along with it. But remember, consistent signals often indicate meaningful information. That's something to keep in mind. Now, let's talk about intuition often appears before logical evidence. That's usually how it comes down. You know, it's often before the logical evidence, and if you're someone who's based in logic, you're not gonna be able to work your intuition easily, you will fight with it because you know, and there's some people who call for readings and they're like, How and why? And you know, sometimes you can explain things and sometimes you just can't. But I tell people never call a psychic if you're caught up in you want congruent facts about something, because that may not show up, and it just may not be for you to get a reading at the time. You could do it at another time when you're more open, because also if you're not open to a reading and you're crushing ever every part, it won't be accurate, it won't resonate on any level, and so you have to have an open mind when you do this work, you have to have expanded awareness of some things can't be explained, you know, and it's okay you you know to not have an explanation yet, but you can sit with it and before you make a decision, or you can, you know, find a way to add some logic to it later if you really need that. So we know that intuition often processes information faster than conscious reasoning. The nervous system constantly gathers subtle cues, including tone shifts, behavioral patterns, emotional changes, environmental information, and relational dynamics. That is very common, you know. So this is our nervous system kind of helping along to guide this intuition. And these cues may not immediately appear obvious, but the brain processes them quickly, creating an intuitive impression. Sometimes the thinking mind recognizes the reasoning later. That happens. I I believe everybody has these moments because we're all given some sense of internal UPS um UPS on what is it when you do the driving directions? Yes. Um internal GPS, that's what I want to say. I'm thinking UPS, but that we all have some of that. I just don't think that we would be anybody would be left out of it. It's just are you tuned to it or not? And so remember the cues won't be always obvious. And you know, because the brain is going so fast to create an intuitive impression. Sometimes a thinking mind recognizes a reasoning later and more information appears. It's after more information appears, right? You know, then you can make sense of it. This can create the experience of I sensed this before I understood why. Very common. Intuition often recognizes patterns early. It does. Before they are fully visibly conscious, right? They're not always visible consciously. And that's something to remember. So let's talk about how the body often responds to clarity. The body often provides signals connected to intuitive information. You may notice a feeling of openness. Sometimes you can just feel that, like you feel more open, more expanded energetically. Calm breathing. Yes, just nice calm breathing, relief, steadiness, subtle expansion, or a grounded feeling, you know, that just ah, I just know I feel calm in my body. You know, those moments are so joyful, right? When you have them and it just everything's nice and settled, that steadiness, that relief, you know, that feeling, especially when p when we have openness, because we're able to allow so much in that openness is also for allowing abundance, allowing for manifesting, it's for so many things, you know, for new information to show up. So let's talk about situations that are not aligned, how the body may feel. Tightness. Sometimes you just get tight, and it's like, why am I like this? Or there's hesitation. You know, you just sit there and you're questioning this, like, should I act on this? What should I be feeling? Contraction, unease. Have you ever just felt uneasy? And you just go, My goodness, what is this? This is so much in the heaviness of the intuition. It it may not be intuition if it feels heavy. That's important, and the body will respond with heaviness if it's something that is not aligned at all. The body communicates honestly, even when the mind is uncertain, observing body sensation can help clarify intuitive signals. The body often recognizes information before the thinking mind explains it. But this is why somatic exercises is so great, or doing yoga, meditation, journal work, all those things. Mindfulness, because you can tune into your body more, and you're able to notice changes in your body or how you're responding to a situation, and it can help you in many ways. Sometimes when you're talking to someone, what if your body gets tight or heavy or something? It may let you know that you're not in alignment with this person. Some people do this when they're making business decisions, you know, so this can really come in handy in many ways, and so it's something to not discount. So let's talk about how intuition often feels neutral rather than emotional. And I think a lot of times people are looking for emotions with their intuition and with their readings, but really it's supposed to be neutral, and when you're reading for people, it's supposed to be neutral without any judgment, right? Or factoring your own stuff, and sadly, some psychics will factor in their own biases, and you know, our opinions are relevant, they really are. And so let's talk about this. Many people assume that intuitive information should feel emotional, yes, yes, and they just think, oh, we should be grand or and dramatic, and oh, you know, like the movies, the movies give a bad impression of it because it's not like that. And I used to laugh and say, gee, I'm nothing like that. You know, people aren't gonna take me seriously because I'm not dramatic. I could be very introverted and calm, but it's really that's how it is. But you know, intuition often feels neutral most of the time. It's informational, right? It's just giving you information, it's just kind of helping you to, you know, understand something or know something. It's observational. For example, this situation may not be supportive, right? This direction may be beneficial. That's very neutral, right? This may require attention instead of saying, Oh my god, oh my goodness, you know, is this gonna work? Is that gonna work? It isn't like that. You you know, you don't question with that intensity, you question with the level of comfort and knowingness, and that's important to understand. The neutrality of intuitive information often helps distinguishing it from fear. Fear often implies emotion, right? And it amplifies emotion when there's fear, and then you can spiral and start questioning and doubting and going, Oh my god, and and you can really stress yourself out and dysregulate yourself. So intuition often communicates calmly. That's the key, it communicates calmly, even when the message suggests change, is still calm. I remember coming moving up to the Bay Area, I was on welfare. I just had my student loans, and that I borrowed money for tuition, and I was in low-income housing, and still this crazy intuition was saying move to the Bay Area. I had to work some logistics, but it worked, it worked out, and it was life-changing in many ways. So sometimes that change it it could be subtle where you can like doubt it, but it could be the thing that you need. So neutral clarity often indicates intuitive perception, yes. So let's talk about how intuitive clarity often increases when you relax. That's why people like to meditate and do yoga and you know, do mindfulness, stuff like that, because it gets them to relax, especially if they're living a stressful life, stressful job, have a lot of things to manage, kids, family, home, you know, bills, right? We can get so ungrounded because we have so much on our plate. Many people notice intuitive clarity becomes easier to recognize when they feel calm. For example, during quiet moments, right? Where you're just sitting quiet, you could be enjoying coffee, tea, something, just staring into whatever, staring at the walls, but you're quiet. That's why some people love to get up before everybody else in the house so they can have some quiet moments. And that's something to do if you have a busy schedule, slowly practice getting up ten, fifteen minutes earlier. Just slowly do it, you know, before you have to start your day. And that's why people go for walks, right? Because those are nice quiet moments, or just resting, even if you don't fall asleep, you just sit, just sit, just lay down. You know, journaling because it just helps you to tune in and you can hear those messages, okay, while showering, taking a bath, reflecting. Yes, when the nervous system relaxes, mental noise often decreases, right? Making intuitive signals easier to notice. That's why you hear jokes of like scientists say I was in the bathtub, or I was in the shower and I I got an aha moment. You know, scientists have I've heard that from scientists, I've heard that from different people, you know, just with different backgrounds. You know, sometimes just being under the water, you know, sitting in the sh bathtub and showering, it can really just open you up to relax. The mental noise decreases, making intuitive signals so much easier. Clarity often appears when pressure decreases. All right, because when you're stressed, anxious, nothing's gonna be clear. And it allows space often. Allowing space often allows for supporting intuitive recognition, right? So allowing space often supports intuitive recognition. And so you want to just leave space for these things if you want to become more tuned in. Because it's hard. A lot of people think they have to get in front of somebody and try to read them. But no, don't start there. Just start being alone first. Okay, so we're going to talk about intuition, how it often feels supported. It's supportive long term. Even when intuitive decisions feel uncertain initially, they often feel supported over time, right? You may later recognize the decision aligned with your well-being. And that's really good. The situation became clearer. The direction made sense later. The choice supported growth. The outcome created learning. Intuition often considers long-term alignment rather than immediate comfort, but often people are looking for immediate comfort. You won't always find that with your intuition. Clarity often becomes visible over time. Understanding often develops gradually, right? So let's close this out. If you have experienced intuitive impressions that did not immediately make sense, you're not alone. Intuition often provides information before a logical explanation appears. Clarity often develops gradually. Common signs intuition may be correct include calm clarity, right? Consistent repetition, body-based signals, neutral tone, increased clarity over time. Your intuition does not always need immediate proof. Understanding often develops later, slowly. We focus on intuitive development in many ways, feeling grounded, structured, and supported. So perception can feel stable, and clarity can feel trustworthy. Intuition often arises before explanation. Trust can develop gradually. So I want to thank you for listening. You know, because it's about openness, and I know a lot of people are curious, but they don't know where to start or who to ask sometimes. Or yeah, you know, a lot of psychics are busy, right? And they don't have time to teach classes because they're busy with the one-on-ones. We're we're known for one-on-ones. I I notice that it's like I start a group and people are like, Oh, I want one-on-one training. It's such a big thing for people when you're doing intuitive and healing work. People prefer that over group stuff, so that's why a lot of psychics may not be online because you know, teaching or offering, you know, training videos because of the busyness of the work being one on one and it's enjoyable, but you know, sometimes a group setting is also a wonderful thing, too. But I want to thank you for listening. Have a great day, and I will see you in the next episode.
