The Stronger by August Strindberg was first performed in London in 1924.
The story, based on Strindberg's life and, not surprisingly, his wife and marriage, focuses on one Madame confronting another.
This audio version was made to mark the 100th Anniversary of the first drama aired by the BBC on 15 January 1924.
