🔶Meet & Greet with Rafaël Piqueras Bertie, chef-owner of Osteriá Burgos, Italian Comfort Food Restaurant. 🔶
🎙️🔉Raphael Piqueras graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu Peru Institute, with a master's degree from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. After his studies, he completed several internships abroad, including El Bulli with chef Ferrán Adriá. Rafael worked with Guido in Italy, as well as at El Esguard with 1 Michelin star and El Celler de Can Roca with 3 Michelin stars. After returning to Peru, he worked as gastronomic consultant for the Sumaq hotel in Cusco and as head chef for the Double Tree by Hilton Hotels. Today, Piqueras is considered one of Peru's best chefs. He also ran Maras l Maras, a fine dining restaurant at the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Centre.
After a personal loss, Raphael changed tack and chose his love for Italian Comfort Food. A first restaurant to witness this is Osteriá Burgos.

Na zijn studie liep hij verschillende stages in het buitenland, waaronder El Bulli onder leiding van de beroemde chef-kok Ferrán Adriá. Vandaag de dag wordt Piqueras beschouwd als een van de beste chef-koks van Peru. Hij leidde ook Maras l Maras, een fine dining restaurant in het Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center. Na een persoonlijk verlies, gooide Rafaël het over een andere boeg en koos voor zijn liefde voor Italiaans Comfort Food. Een eerste restaurant hiervan getuige is Osteriá Burgos.
