The Women's Health, Wisdom, and... WINE! podcast is a weekly conversation with practitioners, providers, patients & healers about complex reproductive medicine & women's health challenges, the value of an integrative approach to these challenges, many of the women's health topics you're already thinking about & uncomfortable talking about & my personal favorite... WINE!

This podcast dedicates most of its time addressing the facets of complex women's health and reproductive health challenges... in adults. We spend an inordinate amount of time trying to reclaim our youth. From birth to age 21-24ish we thought we were invincible. Now, we're reaping the harvest of the seeds we once planted as teenagers and young adults. How's your harvest?  Being a teenager can be a very tumultuous experience. It's a time of trying to figure out who you are and what your role is in the world. One foot is halfway into independence while the other foot is still very vulnerable and dependent on adults. This creates a dilemma where we see a deep need for guidance which is often manifest through negative behaviors and attitudes coupled with the desire for independence. Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to treat teenagers and young adults as they traverse the many obstacles that arise during these life cycles.

And what about correlating seasonal changes? As adults, we often fail to remember that we were once teenagers/younger adults. So how do we  create time for rest, restoration, rejuvenation, and healing when work-from-home responsibilities meet parenting, social engagements, chores, and that ever-growing "to-do" list? Living in harmony with the seasons is where self-love, self-care, mindfulness, and intention intersect. Why is "living with the seasons" important, though?  Pandemic life has many of us living at the ends of the spectrum, either with "cabin fever" consumed by wanderlust or with defiant self-indulgence. Seasonal imperatives provide a framework for health, wellness, and healing if and when we pay attention.
