Hold onto your hats folks - today’s interview is nothing short of incredible!

In this episode I had the absolute privilege of interviewing Karen Marie Johnston, where she shares her story with me so openly. From a childhood that was unsafe, acting out at school, falling into a life of addiction - and all that that entails - to being saved by an incredible social worker and now supporting women in the way she once was.

Karen is a multi award-winning coach, registered social worker, supervisor & trauma and nervous system informed 'She Recovers' yoga teacher.

She is a consultant and trainer for UK charity and statutory sector organisations and specialises in safeguarding and risk management for marginalised and under-served communities.

She organises beautiful retreats & works 1:1 with women in recovery from addiction, disordered eating, trauma and mental health challenges

She is obsessed with supporting women in recovery to rebuild a loving relationship with themselves, so that they can move beyond their past and live the lives they truly deserve.

She has worked with women in the sex industry for 2 decades.

This is one of the most heartfelt and wholesome conversations I have ever had, and I know you’ll walk away with a tear in your eye feeling like anything is possible.
