This One Time On Psychedelics
Welcome, fellow explorers of the infinite.
If you’re here, it means you’re ready to step beyond the ordinary and into the great unfolding mystery of existence itself. Because psychedelics? They’re not just substances—they’re a doorway to a new way of seeing reality, a lens that reveals the hidden layers of reality we walk through every day. And that’s exactly what we explore here.
I’m Ryan Sprague, and This One Time On Psychedelics isn’t just about trippy stories and wild journeys (though trust me, we have plenty of those). It’s about the conversations that hold the power to awaken us, to shift our consciousness, and to remind us that there is far more to this reality than meets the eye.
These are the conversations that expand hearts, challenge perspectives, and guide us back to the wisdom that has always been within us. Whether through plant medicines, altered states, or the everyday magic woven into life itself, this is a space where we step beyond the known and into the infinite.
The psychedelic renaissance is here. The future is unwritten. And you, my friend, are a part of it.
So buy the ticket. Take the ride. And let’s see how deep this trip goes.
This One Time On Psychedelics
Ep. 207: You Don’t Need A Guru: Here’s How To Heal Yourself (feat. Christopher August)
Whenever today’s guest & I get together, I know it’s going to be an epic conversation. From working together the last two years creating the Breathe With Cannabis brand that many of you have attended already, to traveling to epic places together, creating memories & more, to say I am grateful for his presence in my life would be an understatement. As such, him & I were talking recently about one thing we both feel strongly about, which is the idea that healing is an inside job & not something you’ll find “out there” & as we were talking about it, we realized we wanted to focus an entire episode on the show on this topic to share some of what we’ve noticed, why healing is looked at in a distorted way in much of the healing space &, most importantly, what you can do about it to take back your power, become your own guru & heal for real. So, without further adu, please help me in welcoming my brother Christopher August onto the show!

Thank you. Medicines and the impact they've made among the countless psychonauts exploring the last true frontier. Buy a ticket and take the ride with me as we get true firsthand accounts of the experiences, benefits, risks and transformations taking place within the ever-expanding world of psychedelic medicines. On this One Time on Psychedelics, whenever today's guest and I get together, I know it's going to be an epic conversation. From working together the last two years creating the Breathe With Cannabis brand that many of you have experienced already, to traveling to epic places together, creating memories and more to say, I am grateful for his presence in my life would be a severe understatement. As such, him and I were talking recently about one thing we both feel strongly about, which is the idea that healing is an inside job and not something you'll find out there. And as we were talking about it, we realized we wanted to focus an entire episode on the show on this topic, to share some of what we've noticed, why healing is looked at in a distorted way in much of the healing space and, most importantly, what you can do about it to take your power back, become your own guru and heal for real. So, without further ado, please help me in welcoming my brother, christopher August, to the show.
Speaker 1:Christopher August, you handsome devil man, whenever I can podcast with you, it is a good day. And, guys, like I said in the intro, what we really want to dive in today is why real healing looks and is different than you may think it is, because this is something Chris and I have been talking about a lot. We've been in the quasi healing space for over a decade now each, and we've seen some things that we just don't feel are in alignment with how we look at healing, and so we wanted to do this podcast to potentially shed some light for some of you If you've been stuck on the healing phase for a long time and you're feeling very heavy why those things may be happening. So, before we get into all that, chris, my man, how are you doing today, brother?
Speaker 2:Dude, it is epic to be here. We have so many incredible things happening right now. I feel lit up and alive by life and excited to dive into this conversation. Because, yeah, we are. We are in an interesting paradigm and I think right now more than ever, the greatest skillset that people can develop is true discernment, because you know there's a lot of people out there that I believe are unequipped to be holding space for others and their trauma and their experience, and I know that's a lot of what we're going to get into today.
Speaker 1:Yeah, 100% man. And I'm glad you mentioned discernment, because I think that discernment is the ultimate muscle we are here to wield, because if we are looking to go back to oneness, but within the dualistic view of this universe, we can see these terms good and evil, right AKA God or the absence of God Then for me, the ability to use discernment to figure out what true goodness is, and also the lack thereof I won't even call it evil, I think that's giving it too much credit but the lack thereof I think that's what we're actually meant to do in this lifetime and in this earth school is really be able to discern that. Because, again, like some people may really believe they can heal you, they go to Burning man, they do 5-MeO, dmt and they're like I want to be a plant medicine facilitator and it's a great intention, the idea to help other people. You got help. Do you want to help people? But when you're talking to these people and they really feel like they can help you, but maybe you're feeling like I don't know, I don't know if I feel comfortable to open myself up around them, like that, listen to that feeling, because there's a lot of people out there that I want to say have the right intentions. I want to give them some goodness. I want to say I have the right intentions, but are completely unaware of what healing truly is, what it looks like, how to actually utilize it. I mean even the people out there calling themselves healers.
Speaker 1:To me, that doesn't really sit right with me, because I feel like a true healer if we're going to use that term is not someone who heals. That's like the argument of like giving you a fish. That's what some of these people have wanted us to believe as a collective is like oh, I am the guru, I know how to heal you and so you constantly need me to learn how to heal yourself. Every time you get a boo-boo, you need to come back to daddy so he can heal you, and that, to me, is not true empowerment. How I look at healing is, if I understand that everyone and everything is God, and so when I'm talking to you, chris, I'm talking to God, then I understand that you have all the information within you to heal anything that you may need to heal or move past or expand into. So my goal as a quote unquote healer which I don't like that term, but we'll use it as a placeholder is to remind you of your own power so you can learn how to fish, you can learn how to actually work through and heal and expand and do all these things.
Speaker 1:You know, I always say that if someone's working with me for an extended amount of time, I get kind of freaked out about that Because at the same time, like I don't want them to think they need me. You know, one of my coaches said one of the best lines to me said my two favorite days of when someone hires me and when they fire me, because if they're sticking too long with me I'm not doing my job, I'm becoming their guru and I want them to realize they have always been their own guru but potentially sometimes they're just not looking in the right place. So if I can help them learn how to look in different places and come back to their own power, that is true empowerment in my opinion.
Speaker 2:Dude. Well, well said, absolutely. And I'm so on board with that. And I mean, of course, because we are also working together and creating spaces where people can feel safe to drop into themselves and take that definition one step further, saying that, yeah, you are not healing others, people are healing themselves. You are simply a guide, a channel, a conduit who helps people uncover the hidden wisdom and wholeness that already resides within them. Right, it's the whole mantra around you are not broken, you do not need fixing, you do not need changing. You're just peeling back the layers, subtracting all of the blocks, the conditioning, the programming that are in the way to reveal the diamond that's shining inside. And so, as healers, coaches, whatever facilitators, our job is to actually step out of the way and step into pure presence, awareness, integrity, knowing that we, energetically, can hold the space for someone to unfold within that moment and unfold into their right all the answers that reside within them. And that's all we're doing.
Speaker 2:We've we've overcomplicated it, and I truly believe a lot of it has to do in what I've seen, at least. There's a lot of quote, unquote healers in the space that are essentially just projecting their own trauma and wounding onto other people, and that is a huge problem, because now the person that is entrusting you to guide them, to lead them, to hold them in this space, you're essentially leading them astray and even potentially into deeper levels of trauma and exacerbating what's already there. So, yeah, it's a. This is a big topic, man, it's really big.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and in a lot of ways, what we're doing here is burning a sacred cow, you know, because I think a lot of people get out there Cause. Think about how we've been trained, you know, like we've been trained since very early years in school that there's a right answer or a wrong answer. We've been trained that if we have a headache, there's a pill we can take and it goes away. Of course, when we come into this space and we start to be spiritually inclined and we start hearing these terms like healing and whatnot, naturally the response is who can I go for that healing? Who can I go to to help me heal? At the end of the day, the response is who can I go for that healing? Who can I go to to help me heal? And at the end of the day you know the language and the stories here are a big part too, because if you're walking around saying I need healing, what are you also telling yourself? I'm not healed right now. And so it's the words that are unsaid that can sometimes create these compounding stories, especially for someone that's already traumatized, that put them into this emotionally vulnerable state, which is a perfect state for the opposite, which is a negatively polarized, egocentric individual to come in and say, oh yeah, I have all the answers for you. All it's going to take is another three grand. All it's going to take? Oh, you did level one. That's cute, but if you really want real healing, you got to go to level two. And so what happens? They stay on the tit of this healer over time and it doesn't actually create true empowerment, it actually creates disempowerment, because the truth is we all are God and so, if that is true and if we look at it like Jesus right, if we look at Jesus and we look at a true non-dualist, what was one of his favorite lines that people quote from the Bible often Anything I can do, you can do. That's true empowerment.
Speaker 1:He was an example. He was showing you how much humanity had forgotten, and that's why he was so wildly popular at that time was because he was doing things that people thought were impossible or miracles, and in the way they are right, all of life is a miracle but at the end of the day, he was only showing us what had forgotten. You know, it's almost like he had the full user manual to the car, so we understood, like the steering wheel, but we didn't even know it started. We just thought we sat in there and just messed around with the steering wheel and it's like a forearm workout or whatever, like a shake weight of the old days or whatever. But what he showed us is like no, you see, this thing, this thing. You're like oh, that isn't just a scraped crud out of the crevices of this car. It's like no, that's a key, it goes in this ignition and you can actually like drive places in this car.
Speaker 1:And then, whenever people will be like wow Jesus, like I can't believe that you're the only one that can drive a car, he's like no, in my opinion, true empowerment, but what do we know about religion? Very similar. It's like they cut all that out. They were like no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you can't do that, but we can. And oh yeah, we need money.
Speaker 1:So again, it's the same system getting played out, which is really funny because a lot of people come into spirituality because they've been turned off from religion and they unknowingly get themselves into the same type of thing just because it has some cool name on it. That sounds very spiritual and I have a lot of, you know, like gratitude and also like awareness that a lot of people coming into this space just don't know this yet, which is why I'm so excited to be filming this podcast episode, because I've been in the part of some of these groups and it's a very awkward feeling when you can tell the person just wants to be the guru and wants to have all the answers. It's just not where I parked my car. I'll say it nicely that way.
Speaker 2:Yeah, man, a hundred percent, and that's a. That's such a big thing that I've noticed, and like I can literally count on one hand, how many people actually really deeply trust within the space aside from myself and yourself, like I trust myself to hold space for others. I've been doing it for a long time and you know, really alluding to what you were talking about before in the sense of what, what Yeshua, what Jesus was doing, all he was doing and this is actually decoded within the Aramaic language and it's also decoded within a. Do I have it? Yeah, I got it right here. So I was watching the video of this the Law of Light by Lars Muehl.
Speaker 2:In this book, it talks about how, essentially, jesus was just setting the container for people to be healed. So what did he do? He breathed. We're going to talk more about that in a bit. He breathed. The circle of light around him created the container in which someone can step into through the power of their own belief and then be healed, and that's what we deemed up and chalked up as miracles. But literally setting the container, holding that space, holding the vision of this person's God potential and then them believing in themselves, is what creates instantaneous healing. Now, that might not happen every time we have to go through a journey, but essentially, if you are an equipped healer, this is not a role that you're performing. You are literally just a walking living embodiment of the work and you are holding the energetic space for people to come into, to totally surrender into and trust and unwind all of the energy imprints that they've been carrying. And that's really what it is.
Speaker 2:But again, you know, people got some fucking egos in the space and there's a lot of there's a lot, of, a lot of ego that is ruling this entire spiritual slash, healing space, and you know that inevitably is going to create, uh, you know, a lot of polarity and negative polarized service to self individuals.
Speaker 2:But you know what that's? Neither you know there nor here, but you know right now, I think. For why we're talking about this is not to, you know, really put anybody down, but just to illuminate what's actually going on here and so that you, the listener, can use your own discernment to what feels good for you. And that always happens through the body, right and the, the, the body, the vessel, the physical vessel, and how sacred it is for actually tuning into your discernment and actually healing. Because when we go deep into the somatic body and we start to inquire about all of the different energies that are imprinted and embedded within us, we can travel those landscapes and really begin to heal on a deep level. So I don't know if there's anything else you want to mention around that, and then we can kind of bridge it into something else here that I know we want to get into. But go ahead.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean, you know, I love what you just brought up because, again, we're not trying to call anyone out, we're trying to call people forward here. You know, because, again, at the end of the day, I would like to assume that anyone who might be in that negative polarity of service to self, egocentric, and they're trying to be the guru, I imagine somewhere in them they believe they're doing the best they can. So that's what I like to think about the world, because it helps me live in a world that's a much safer and more exciting place, that everyone's doing the best of the information they have. But how we want to empower you guys in this conversation because we don't want to instill fear or anything like that is actually completely opposite. To show you guys that if you're someone just walking into the space, you hear about healing or you hear about any of this kind of stuff going on. You're like, hey, this sounds, this sounds cool.
Speaker 1:You know, you may think, you may wrongly assume that you know nothing about healing because you're just hopping into the space, but, like Chris just said, your body will tell you everything you need to know. You know, like, for instance, I'm not everyone's person, nor are you Chris, and we understand that, like someone may just not resonate with what we do, that's beautiful. They're going to find someone else they resonate with. But if you walk into a space and you feel a feeling in you, you feel like a constricted feeling, and probably your mind just says, oh well, I've just never been in the room like this. I guess I just don't know the energy. It's like no, you actually know a lot more than you think you do, because our somatic connection of the body will tell us everything we need to know, and we don't even need to have the reason, because that's the other thing that I will do is like well, I know, I feel like I shouldn't be here right now, but I don't have any logical evidence, so let me just keep staying around. And then, before you know it, you know you're a year in, you spent I don't know $30,000 or whatever it is, and so, at the end of the day, I want you all to walk away from this episode, understanding that you already have an infinite source of wisdom within you, just like Chris said, and to not discount that, and to not discount that, even if you've never been in the healing space, never worked with a coach. Whatever you're gonna know, based on the feelings you're feeling, if that person is right for you or not.
Speaker 1:Because, again, that's what we're talking about is discernment. We don't need to know the why, we just need to know the what right, like how does this feel? And the needing to know the why can perpetuate us staying in these types of programs a lot longer than we may actually want to or may actually be good for us. You know, like I've gone through some of these things and I grew out of them. I was just like this never felt right for me, but I just kept thinking well, I'm newer, you know, maybe I just don't have it figured out. Because that's again what these people usually say. It's like, oh, you know, you're feeling it. You just, you're just acting out of trauma, right? It's so easy to pray after emotionally vulnerable people that have been traumatized. So I'm right there with you, man. But yeah, that's what I wanted to add in and totality to that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, thank you for sharing that. And yeah, guys, you know really, the depth of what we want to convey here, aside from what we've already shared, is that you yourself have again, as Ryan, talked about the tools right, and it all starts with bodily awareness. So, anything that you've experienced, any sort of wounding and trauma, we've all gone through an array of different experiences that have challenged us, but really, at the end of the day, you, us, everybody, we aren't victims to that. We are essentially allowing ourselves and our souls to grow, to expand, to evolve. That is the reason we came here, and those perceivable negative experiences that have happened are here to essentially help you as a catalyst, to help you really grow and to fully heal.
Speaker 2:And so, when we look at this space really again, it all comes back to the body, because the body holds the memories, it holds the wisdom, it is the intelligent vessel in which we can go deeply into, to receive the answers.
Speaker 2:We need to peel back the layers of all of what we've experienced to get to that diamond, to get to that sun that's shining and through that lens of somatic healing, which I do believe is more the future of healing, somatics and frequency and vibration.
Speaker 2:This is really we need to get into the body. It's not through the mind and through this we begin to shift our state and we begin to fully allow ourselves to shift our energy from one of lack, scarcity, fear, doubt, worry to one of abundance, peace, love and so forth. And it all stems from within, and what I feel, what Ryan feels, and the reason we collaborate and co-create together, is because, number one, we're aligned in all of these areas and we found two things that we absolutely love, which is cannabis and breath work, which are two of, I may argue, the most powerful tools available for the deeply somatic healing experience, and going within yourself, because it just brings you within when used intentionally and consciously. Speaking to cannabis, which I know you can speak to, and then perhaps I'll get into the breath part and then how they all blend together.
Speaker 1:Yeah, man, great point and you know, again, like, what I love about cannabis and breath work is that you don't need to always be in a, you know, a training program. Like you know, at the end of the day, these are tools that you can utilize on your own. You don't need to fly to the jungle to do ayahuasca, you don't need to do some sketchy backdoor deal to find psilocybin. You can literally if in the, if you're in the U S order from places like akirobotanicalscom and you can get thca hemp flower which is essentially just cannabis shipped right to your door. And then you want to talk ease breath work. Who doesn't have access to breathe right now? Most people do, I mean, unless they have lung cancer or something which is terrible. But you know, most people have the ability to breathe as much as they want, and that ability to have a natural psychedelic is right there. And you know what's great about cannabis and breathwork as well is that you know and this is something I was going to say before, but I think it pertains to what we're talking about here too is that you know why I love cannabis and breathwork. Number one they're efficient and effective. I mean just straight up.
Speaker 1:I mean, we've done these workshops breathe with cannabis for the last two and a half years and last two and a half years. And it's actually hilarious how people I mean one of the first people to join our new program shout out to Olga. She put it in there like guys. I think I learned more about myself in the two and a half hours yesterday than I have from every retreat, every experience ever.
Speaker 1:And why is that? Because we may be guiding breathwork etc. But they're laying down their their own guru, they're working through things. Then we give them an opportunity to share at the end and if they require any support, we'll nudge them in certain ways or whatever and help them uncover more of what's in them already. But it's a real good example of how people can connect with cannabis, connect with intentional breath work, be guided on a journey and come to their own conclusions and then be witnessed in them after. I mean, that's really the entire process here, and what's great about that is that the other challenge in the healing space I see is people always being stuck in the healing cycle, like oh I just need to heal more.
Speaker 1:I just need to heal more.
Speaker 1:And their goal because I've talked to some of these people is to get closer to God, right To be more joyful, more abundant, et cetera. But if we want to look at the human beings that are closest to God at any one time in human history, we need not look further than our children and, you know, especially children below six years old. Before they've been, you know, they've had their ego integrate. And so let me ask you, chris, because you're a dad, you know, was August, when he was three or four, was he, you know, if he skinned his knee at the park and he had a boo-boo? Was he coming up to you and saying, dad, can you heal this boo-boo for me? And when you put a bandaid on, was he hanging out saying I can't go play yet I feel really bad, and days later he's like I don't know if I have any trauma around this knee. Or was he getting that bandaid on and, as quick as he could, getting back to the playground and continuing to play? Which one feels more accurate to you?
Speaker 2:The fully present situation. It's getting hurt and then I'm back to where I am right it's. There is no reflecting into the depth of what that pain is. It's feeling it, allowing it and then channeling it through and moving on.
Speaker 1:And that's what I found. Man is that with cannabis and breath work, what I can do is all week, as I'm getting triggered or upset about things or whatever, I take little notes. And then on the weekend, on Saturday or Sunday, I'll make an intention based off of all those things and I'll say cannabis and breath, please show me, help me and teach me what I need to know right now or what I could benefit from understanding right now. I go into that, I get some downloads, I integrate them on the go because again, we're using somatic medicine with cannabis and breath work. So again, all of our tension and our trauma, our issues, are stored in their tissues. So as we start liberating our tissues, our somatic body, they literally don't exist anymore and then we can get back to the playground and keep playing.
Speaker 1:We don't need to be constantly rummaging and looking for more healing, because you know what that does it invents things that aren't even real, because again, we're living in a dream world. If the all is mind, then you should probably be careful of what you tell your mind to tell you. You know, like that's the thing with hermetics is that when I understood the implications of the all is mind and I understood that anything is a story, then even the idea that you need to heal is just a story. And again, I'm not saying that there's no credence or no ability to heal or no need for it, but I'm just saying if we want to get close to God and we look at kids and then we actually evaluate how we're looking to get closer to God, a lot of times those can be directly out of alignment.
Speaker 1:And I remember when this happened for me and I remember when I realized that I was being way too serious about my healing and that was the thing is like. When I go into some of these spaces there's no laughter, there's just somberness and seriousness and I'm like I'm not about that at all Because that's not what God is. God is a big kid who sometimes skins his knee, cries for a little bit, gets a bandaid put on and then it's back to the playground and that's how I want to live my life. You know, I want to actually take the race car out on the track. I don't always want to be in the garage just like panic that something's going to break on it when I bring it to the track.
Speaker 2:Oh, yes, I love that. I love that so much and, yeah, you know, like that's the mantra and the breathe with cannabis space and what we tell people all the time is like healing can be fun, right, and it is fun Like if you've never been in one of our spaces. Watch the hundreds of people on the screen dancing at one point, when we're connecting with cannabis and sharing our intentions and the you made a case for you know one of the quotes of what Olga said, who was in our new limitless group. She said she and I pulled it up right here just because I want to reiterate this I think I've learned more about myself in two and a half hours during one of your workshops than from all the combined energy workshops and retreats I've done before. I absolutely love your work and excited to have your help on this journey of self-discovery and liberation. It's time to wake up. I mean, that's one of hundreds People are just saying it's a mind blowing experience, and I'm not here to again promote my ego and say you need to come into the space, use your discernment, but all I can tell you is that the work that happens with breathwork and cannabis and two and a half hours is beyond anything.
Speaker 2:And you know, really, I want to kind of just dive into some practicality. Okay, so you're you've never done this before. You're listening to Chris and Ryan speak. You're hearing us hype this up and and talk about how healing can be fun, all this stuff. How does this actually work? Right? So, through the conscious intention, through working with cannabis in a way that really is for deep reverence and respect and not a numbing experience like most people use it and of course, you've heard Ryan talk about this all the time, because that's his work is that this is a way in which you can come into attunement, into an alignment with your body and your emotions and your mental state, your energetic state. It really sinks you deep to really see the 30,000 foot view of all of the stories and identities and lack and fear that's playing out, the resistance, the pain, and allow you to go into that. And the great thing is is that when we are unafraid to go deep into that and we then use the power of our breath on top of that to take ourselves into those spaces we find at the bottom of the well, is where our joy, our happiness, our abundance, our prosperity, our purpose lies.
Speaker 2:And so these two medicines combined together just fucking get you there. They're just, they're an accelerator right, and it's through this transformation of your innermost state, aka your consciousness, that you can begin to create an architect, the life that you want, because the life that you're seeking out there, of all the money, the love, the connection, the meaning and the so forth, it's always within you, and when you feel that frequency, when you become that vibrational state of what that actually is, that energy that you desire, that then begins to happen on the external. That's why people come into this space, hundreds of people, thousands at this point and have completely altered their lives. And it can be like that, it can be that fun.
Speaker 2:I feel like People have been doing this for thousands and thousands of years. This isn't something new. These technologies of cannabis and breathwork they're ancient but we're putting them together in a modern way, using our breathwork and beats and breath right and these sonic beats that just hit hard and it's fun and you can vibe with the music Like it's it's. It's an engaging, accessible, just absolute blast. Ryan and I have to pinch ourselves to show up every time to do this once a month or in our programs, and say, wow, we are literally doing what we love and and seeing people transform before our eyes. I want nothing more.
Speaker 1:Yeah, dude, totally agreed. And you know I love that you talk about like, why this works, right, because I have a couple of things I wrote down when you were talking. It's like, you know, the thing is that if we look at the pharmaceutical industry or we look at big food or any of these things and we see what's happening there, right, we've been tricked to believe that if we have a headache, we just have an Advil deficiency. We've been tricked to believe that if we have a headache, we just have an Advil deficiency. We've been tricked to believe that a more efficient route for dealing with that headache is taking an Advil, when in reality the real way to do it, like a way to be efficient, is to figure out why you're getting headaches to begin with, you know, figure out the root cause. So we know that fast food and pharmaceuticals and these things have allowed us to believe that food is meant to be fast, like is there something more important than food? Oh, medicine. It's just like just numb out whatever's happening and just get back to work, you know. And so if it's happening there, we have to assume it's happening everywhere in some way, shape or form, because how we do anything is how we do everything, another hermetic lens to look through.
Speaker 1:So if we look at the healing space, especially in spirituality, what do a lot of these people do? They say do not connect with plant medicine. Right, and they're very big on it. Don't connect with plant medicine. Well, why is that? Well, I imagine they'd probably say, oh, fear, or they could mess you up or whatever. But in reality, why have plant medicines been used for thousands upon thousands of years, like if they were just useless? Don't you think humanity would have figured that out by now and don't you think that the churches and everyone would have made such a big effort to stamp them out? So, basically, what I'm working to here is the fact that when you combine cannabis, plant medicine with something like breathwork, it's an efficient way to move through time in a quick way, because if you're trying to solve a problem, if you're trying to heal from the same level of thinking that created that problem, well, it's a fool's errand, it's extremely inefficient. So what I have found, and the reason I think plant medicines are here and the reason I think they're having a resurgence right now, is, I think people are tapping back into the fact that I don't want to have to go to therapy for 10 fucking years to get a change. Like, I'm okay, taking a quote, unquote risk and going to connect with cannabis or psilocybin or something to get a desired goal in a quicker amount of time.
Speaker 1:And also, what do you get when you get that 30,000 foot view, chris? You get the idea that if you're looking at your stories, your belief systems, all your traumas, all that stuff, then you get to remember that you're not actually those things, that all that's really happened is that your mind right, the all is mind has essentially had a malware program on it that's been trained to make you always look at what's wrong, to make you look at you as not enough, not worthy, not lovable. But when you get away from all that and you realize well, whoever I really am is the one viewing all this stuff, you see that it's all bullshit and that's why you can have quantum leap type healing right in a two and a half hour ceremony. It's not necessarily any part of what we're doing. It's the fact that, like, when we look at this as a reason, this technology has been utilized for over 10,000 years. You know people were doing this way before we tapped into it and at the end of the day, the fact that seems so revolutionary is actually just proof of how far away from common sense we've really gotten of like what really helps humanity.
Speaker 1:You know, when you go to these tribal societies, they all have a plant medicine they utilize for the most part. Why is that? They're living in the jungle. They don't need TVs, they don't need any of these. You know, maseratis, ferraris, whatever. Why? Well, maybe they have something figured out. We don't. But a lot of us myself included for years look at like a third world country and I'm like, oh man, like I feel bad. You know they don't have all these things and whatever. But when you go to some of these places, they're the happiest fucking people because they have like things that are more stationary and objective for human well being. Then we've been trained to think that we have, with all these technologies and everything like that.
Speaker 1:So I think that's the ultimate reason why I love cannabis and breathwork so much and why it works so well is that it's efficient. It allows you to remember who you really are, and once you know who you really are, you realize all the other shit is bullshit, and so it never affects you the same way again. And when you do it in community with other people and you can be witnessed standing in your power and you can see other people who also have been tricked to believe that all these things were them getting out of that trickery and getting out of that tomfoolery, it inspires you to keep going. And then what do you naturally want to do? Just like kids, do you want to go share your gifts with the world, right, like when you realize I don't have any healing to do, I just have an orientation issue. I just don't want to look over there anymore. And I do want to look over here Because want to look over there anymore. And I do want to look over here Because, at the end of the day, none of that stuff's actually real. It's just that you believed it's been real for so long that abracadabra. It's now real.
Speaker 1:So that's really what we're doing here and why I'm so excited, for the first time ever, for us to do an eight week program of this.
Speaker 1:You know we've been doing the webinars and the workshops for two and a half years now, and Chris and I put our heads together and we were like you know what.
Speaker 1:I think we could create an awesome program out of this and just bring people through a quantum leap ability to focus on eight different aspects of human well-being over eight weeks, from rewiring the subconscious to relationship healing, to inner child healing, et cetera, et cetera, shadow work and just go into all these different areas and just liberate people so then they can go shine their light for other people, and I think that's how we wake up in a world that looks very different than today, because when people are lit up, they don't need necessarily to go give their life to a corporation.
Speaker 1:They don't need any of that stuff. They can still do that if that's what's fun to them, but they're not doing it from a place of need, and so because of that they're going to spend more time with their families and overall they're going to be more joyous human beings. And that is addictive. When you hang out with a joyous individual, you want to know what they have figured out that you don't yet, and these people being in that state will allow them to learn how to fish, not just keep giving them fish, and that I think is really the world that we're waking up to in a very short amount of time, with this kind of stuff out there.
Speaker 2:Dude, that is it, man, it is it. It is that quantum leap experience. And so, yeah, you know, as you know anybody listening to this right now you're, you're curious, your interest is piqued, your intuition saying yes, then we'd love to come, have you and join us in one of our experiences, whether it's a workshop, whether it's our limitless eight week program, whether it's a retreat you can go to breathe with cannabiscom. You can check out all the offerings we have there, you can see an FAQ, you can read more about the experience.
Speaker 2:But we promise you guys, like we're, we stick by our word and say like you don't have a transformational experience, We'll give you your money back. Like we're just so transparent in that way and want to make sure that, like hey, this is an open space for anybody that's truly down to go deep and to also have a good time and to really expand into the greatest, greatest version of themselves. Like we need more people walking the planet that are fully activated and awakened and truly in, anchored in their higher purpose and really aligned with their soul's mission, because that's how we changed the paradigm here. So if you want to come join us, you know how we we get down, just hopefully by this episode, and we'd love to have you there and yeah, it's going to be.
Speaker 2:It's going to be so epic, just to see you guys in the container and and really so you can have a direct experience. Cause, as Ryan and I say, don't trust us, Don't take our word for it, Literally. I am all about direct experience, which you know when we look into shamanic culture. That's what everything's about. It's not like the shaman is not here to heal you. This person's not here to heal you. They're just guiding you back to your own perfect wisdom. And that's exactly what we're here to do through the technologies of breathwork and cannabis, and it's epic, so hope to see you guys there.
Speaker 1:Yeah, me too. It's so much fun to be able to do this with you, chris, and to have made such an amazing experience that allows people to remember who and what they truly are. Like Chris said, I'll echo this too. Like use discernment, guys right. Like, just like we're talking about, this isn't the event for everyone, you know, not everyone's medicine is cannabis, or I would say, probably most people's medicine is breathwork because they have to breathe. But at the same time, like, use your discernment, you know. Like take what we taught you in this podcast or opened up for you and put it directly into action. Hop on, breathe with cannabis. See if you feel that pull of. Like this feels exciting. If not, that's okay. Maybe it's not your time right now, maybe it'll never be your time, that's okay. Like that's fine.
Speaker 1:We're not here for everyone. We understand, and we don't take it personally. Like there are people out there that won't resonate with anything I say or that Chris says. That's beautiful too, because there's your people and not your people in this world and it's not personal. And why would you ever spend time trying to convince people that aren't your people to be your people when you could just spend more time with your people, and so we're looking for more of our people, more of the people that resonate with this work, that want to come try it out and, like Chris said, you don't have a transformative experience, please reach out to us. We'll give you your money back. We're not looking for anything for free here. And also, if you have questions, you can always reach out to us. You know there's a lot of ways.
Speaker 1:I know a lot of people get a little sketched out around cannabis and things like that. Well, you can try hemp flower. You don't have to be intoxicated to benefit from the aspects of cannabis. Completely sober Cannabis is always optional. We allow you and your own God inside of you, right, that power. We all have to discern what is right for you that day. We never judged, we're never going to tell you, guys, what to do. We're going to make invitations and if they resonate, great, take them. If they don't, don't take them, it's okay. So, guys, it's been amazing. Chris, I freaking love you dude, so excited to be able to do this work with you, man, and like Chris said, you know, come out.
Speaker 1:There's a couple posts on my profile where if you comment abundance, you should get sent the replay from the last event we did. If you want to try it out and if you really feel a call, we're doing Limitless and it's getting released on the 16th, so this episode is going to come out probably about two days before that. So if you guys feel the call, reach out. I'll put the link in the show notes. Feel free to sign up right through there. We're doing it at a discounted price that you'll never get again Only $7.77 for the full eight weeks. And we're also throwing in a bunch of extras the Clarity with Cannabis course, the Power Purpose and Prosperity course, a 12-month Transformation Breathe with Cannabis replay package and six months to Chris's app Beats and Breath.
Speaker 1:That will change your life. Just right. There, I mean, just the bonus materials are enough to change your life, but we wanted to give you guys as much as we possibly could to make this a life-changing experience that you can go learn how to fish with, so that you're not dependent on anyone from this point forward to remind you of these things and you're able to potentially, if you want to step into this work, go teach the next person how to do it, because that's the beautiful world that is going to create a more greener world for generations to come. So that's the beautiful world that is going to create a more greener world for generations to come. So thank you, chris, thank you to everyone who tuned in. Love you guys, may the source be with you, and hope to see you at a Breathe With Cannabis event soon.
Speaker 2:Yes, look forward to it. Peace, guys, peace.
