#62- What is Paradise? The Secrets of a 3000-Year-Old Word

Clinton Shum

What is paradise?

Words leave a legacy, and often clues from the past, clues we, excusably so, have forgotten. The origins of the word "paradise" journeys back to 600BC, meaning "walled enclosure".

But why walled enclosure? Are such walls, figuratively and literally speaking, necessary?

They are in fact, imperative for a life of competence and fulfillment. In a new age world riddled with anxiety, perhaps we should look to old secrets that have stood the test of time. Secrets revealed in the story of a wonderful word and idea. See the show notes below, please like share, subscribe and enjoy!
