Digging Past the Surface: Finding the Apostolic Flow ... English

Apostolic Mentoring +
Exclusive access to premium content! What if the most important work you’ll ever do happens below the surface—where nobody claps and the ground feels hard? We take a deep, honest walk through Genesis 26 to explore how Isaac’s battle over wells maps onto our own call to dig, find the flow of the Spirit, and keep moving until there’s room. This is a sober push past event highs and borrowed language into a lived rhythm of prayer, fasting, obedience, and humble courage that turns moments into a movement.
Together, we unpack why mantles aren’t handed out like gifts, how proximity can’t replace consecration, and why valleys often become access points to God’s steady current. Miracles matter, but they serve the message—and the message serves people. From Red Sea deliverance to Jordan crossings, we trace the shift where God invites us to step first, then watch the waters part. You’ll hear a clear blueprint for guarding awe, resisting shallow habits, and making choices that tether you to depth when pressure rises and critics circle your well.
We also draw strength from David’s choice to lay down Saul’s armor and reach for smooth stones shaped by time in the stream. That picture of character formed under flow reframes success: not what shines, but what feeds. If you’re tired of surface wins and hungry for work that endures—work that opens cities and heals hearts—this conversation will hand you tools, not slogans. Find the flow. Step in with faith. Stay long enough to be shaped, so miracles follow you instead of you chasing them.
If this spoke to you, follow the show, share it with a friend who’s digging right now, and leave a review with one takeaway you’re acting on this week. Your story may be the map someone else needs.
We love to hear from our listeners! Thank you!

Keep your hands lifted this morning. Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He is great and greatly to the praise. He is mighty. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on, if you can speak anything else to be praised. Come on, and the power for the body. Praise God. Praise God. If you remain standing with turning the book of Genesis. Hallelujah. Chapter 26, verse 17. Praise God. Praise God. I'm probably gonna take a little bit of a different pace this morning. But I am so thankful for what God has done in the nation of Mongolia.
SPEAKER_01:What a big three!
SPEAKER_00:I feel to give a sharp warning this morning to all of those that uh you may be what you would call a generational apostolic, or you've been in church for a long time, or maybe you've been on crusades for several times. I warn you this morning not to lose the awe of what God has done.
SPEAKER_01:So to love the name.
SPEAKER_00:Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God. For we go into scriptures, clap your hands and thanks. Thanks to God for trusting us with this moment. Trusting us with this moment. Praise God. Genesis chapter 26, verse 17. Isaac departed thence and pitched his tent in the valley of Jarar and dwelt there. Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digging in the days of Abraham his father. For the Philistines stopped them after the death of Abraham. And he called their names after the names by which his father called them. Hallelujah. And Isaac's servants digged in the valley and found there a well of springing water. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You can be seated today. Hallelujah. There are some things I feel like the Lord wants to highlight this morning as we are gathered here experiencing the making of an apostolic witness in a part of the world that didn't have a huge or much of an apostolic witness. Hallelujah. And we are coming alongside a apostolic family that has given much. But you have given much. You have sacrificed much. Not just to come to Mongolia because your sacrifice predates this appointment. And your sacrifice qualified you for this appointment. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There are streams and flows of the Spirit of God that He wants us to tap into. What you're seeing here this week, and what you're experiencing is not a one-off. It's not God's intention for this to be a one-off experience. This has to get in you, not on you. This is not something that you just felt it, so you did it. No. This is going to become part of your bloodline. It's going to be your DNA. You cannot afford to go back to the way you did church prior to now. Okay? But to sustain that and the difference between it being in you and on you, everybody say it's flow. It's flow. This is not just for a meeting and an event. It's flow. God wants you to walk in it. I think I was talking to Brother Marks here. We're talking about people and their proximity to knowing God. And uh I remembered a statement while he was talking that was uh referred to my wife and I while we were going through some premarital marital counseling. And the statement was you never know some know someone until you live with them. Amen. Amen. You're gonna live with this. This is your life. This is not a trip. This is your life. This is your life, and to sustain that from this point on, you're gonna have to do some digging. You're gonna have to get beneath the surface, no surface prayers, no surface Bible study. You're gonna have to do some digging. You're gonna work to keep this because when we leave this place, the familiarities of what was will fight your new life. It's not that you weren't apostolic before this, but we go from faith to faith. And stepping up into this new dimension that God wants you to walk in, you're gonna have to do some digging and find a flow. And that's what I want to talk about this morning. Finding the flow. Finding the flow. The flow predates us. We're not just here walking in something that man, we just kind of stumbled on this and discovered that God can move like this here. No, this predates us, it predates uh Apostle Robinett, and it predates us. There are men that dug things out in the Holy Ghost that we are living in right now. And I want you to lift your minds from the physical now because I'm not talking about geographically, I'm talking about in the spirit here. What we are walking in, what we are part of, the apostolic ministry and mentoring and atmospheres have been dug out in the spirit by much prayer, much fasting, much sacrifice and obedience to the Holy Ghost. And I want to say this carefully, but I I'm I'm gonna be biblical here. No one can give this to you. I can't give you a mantle, brother Fish. No one can give you a mantle. We talk about mantles and how things are transferred, and when we're talking about this flow and finding that flow that people digged for, um we cannot just by association walk in the things that we have seen. Okay? It's not your proximity to Brother Robinette. It's not it's not buddying up, it's not ambition, it's anointing, and you find that by doing your own digging. I'm gonna take my time here because I need I need you to understand how this works. This works by you picking up the tools that were used before and finding the place where the flow was and dig there. I believe in our generation we're gonna tap into some things, hallelujah, that uh probably hasn't been tapped into for a long time. And uh the Bible says there are wells here that were already dug, but they were uh they were they lacked access. There was no access to these things that former generations were utilizing. And when Isaac stumbles upon this place, um, he knew where it was. His father digged these things, but he didn't inherit it, you know. And I I'll just go ahead and say this too. I don't care what your pedigree is. Somebody said the other day, I don't have a pedigree, you don't need one. It is irrelevant to an apostolic atmosphere. You need to do your own digging. Amen. His father couldn't give him those wells, he had to go back to those wells and do his own digging. Amen. And if you're gonna sustain the flow of what God is trying to do in you, you're going to have to pick up the tools that were already used and find the place that had already been discovered and do your own digging. Because mantles cannot be given to you biblically, mantles are not even caught. Biblically, Elijah cannot give Elisha a mantle. We know that the mantle fell, but Elisha didn't even catch it. He was just there at the right place to see where it was lay, and you must pick it up. Get in the atmosphere and pick up some things that have been left for you. Hallelujah. Because God wants us to live in the flow, and the flow that I'm talking about here is not just a flow of miracles, it's the flow of the spirit. Yes, the miraculous is attached to that. Yes, but uh, as we notice here, uh, miracles, the purpose of miracles is for the message.
SPEAKER_01:Yes, it is. That's right.
SPEAKER_00:Jesus abraded Capernaum because so many miracles were done in Capernaum, but yet they still didn't get it, they couldn't even repent. And he rebuked them, although they had the miraculous. Let me tell you something this morning. You must understand the purpose of living in an apostolic flow, and brother Fish, it is for the purpose of soul winning, not for the purpose of self-aggrandizement that you have power, but we must use it to find the stream where souls can be saved. Let's stop right here. Oh, cut. Where was this? Everybody say a valley. Not the mountain. That's where you're gonna find the flow. You always wonder why certain things are needful and necessary to us that God does not stop and God allows in our life. And uh we don't want them to happen. We wish they wouldn't happen, but God never stopped it. It's not that God doesn't love us, it's not that God is trying to punish you, it's not that God uh there are things that are needful. Why? Because if he doesn't allow that to happen, you won't find the flood, it's just our human nature. So he leads you into a valley, and don't rush out of that valley because that's where you're gonna find access. That let me prophesy to somebody right now. That's why it happened. That's why they turned on you, that's why God allowed them to hurt you because there's a dimension of flow that you would not find you would not find unless that pressure of that pain forced you into a place to get beyond the surface and find the streams under our feet that God wants us to that's why you had to live with that misunderstanding, brother Fish. That's why you had to uh deal with those people that you trusted so much, and all of a sudden it seems like they're against you. The pressures are coming against you. You don't know why, you don't even know what you did. You're trying to figure out what you did wrong, but it's not about what you did wrong, it's about what God is fixing and doing right, so you can get to a deeper level and get into a stream that's been there in the valley. It's been there, it's been there, sister. Leopard, it's been there, it's been there for you and your husband. It's been there. Lift your hands right now. It's been there, sister.
SPEAKER_01:You wouldn't have found that dimension had it not pushed you down. Oh, hallelujah.
SPEAKER_00:The pressure caused you to get so low, and the only place you can go is deeper. Hallelujah. And this is how it goes.
SPEAKER_01:Wow, that's the truth.
SPEAKER_00:You get to this valley, you're gonna start digging, you're gonna begin to find something. And they're in the valley now. The well was there before they got there, but as soon as they start doing the work, as soon as they tap in and things start springing up. Yeah, now they want to fight you for something they could have dug for themselves.
SPEAKER_01:All right, oh my god, it was always there, brother Robin.
SPEAKER_00:Others could have done it, but they didn't want to work, yeah, they didn't want to sacrifice, they didn't want to trust, they didn't want to obey. They ran when the pressure hit their family members, and things started messing with their minds and their emotions, and you had to deal with the extenuating circumstances outside of ministry that kind of hinder your ministry. Hallelujah! But the whole hallelujah, because you chose to set up camp right there. You weren't afraid to dig.
SPEAKER_01:God said it's yours, it's yours, my god. Yes, they're gonna fight you for your flow.
SPEAKER_00:But don't stop because even if they fight you for that well, you got what it takes to keep finding it. Just keep going. It doesn't matter where you go, you're gonna find it. Hallelujah. You might be in the Baltics, you're gonna find it. The enemy might try to push you out, you're gonna find it in Mongolia. The enemy might try to push you, you're gonna find it in Dawson Springs. The enemy might try to push you again, hallelujah. Doesn't matter where you go, as long as you have those tools and you start getting beneath the surface, God's gonna allow you to tap in to a flow, hallelujah, that everybody's gonna want. Sha la baha codalabah. Lay your hand on the neighbor next to you, right? So don't you let that devil keep you away from your extended fast. Don't you let that devil keep you away, hallelujah, from pushing away from certain uh attachments and certain friendships, hallelujah, that will try to drain you because they don't understand your flow, hallelujah.
SPEAKER_01:You tap in and you lock in, hallelujah, because your flow is gonna feed them too.
SPEAKER_00:Hallelujah. So he dug in the valley, didn't wait for a good opportunity, didn't wait for a perfect circumstance and conditions, brother Lopez. He dug where he was, he digged in that valley and he found the flow. They fought him for the flow, and he did what he did to find the first flow, and he found another flow, and they fought him for the flow, and he did what he did the first two times and found another flow. And the enemy realized that I am not gonna stop his flow, and here's what he named that last place rehobeth, which means that there is room. Can I speak to you right now? You might think that there's no room for you because there's so many others, brother Gleason. Keep digging. Yes, the truth is you might be in a concentrated area where there's several that might be gifted, several that might be used, several that might be in positions, but God never had a problem using people without positions. We don't we have enough positions, we don't have enough flow. And that's what God is wanting to release in the atmosphere as we are experiencing what he's doing for this apostolic family. So he had a room. It means the enemy backed up and gave him room. Because it doesn't matter what I do, he's gonna keep doing what he's doing, and he's gonna keep finding the flow. And it seems like the more I put pressure on him to stop, is the more access points he finds.
SPEAKER_03:Oh God.
SPEAKER_00:And that's what God's going to do with you. Put your hands right now in the name of Jesus. Because of the pressures, hallelujah. It comes with the territory of your flow. Hallelujah. It comes with it. Every time God wanted to make a major move amongst his people, he led them to a place of flow. Led them to the Red Sea when they were shifting from an Egyptian atmosphere into pursuing promise. And at that point, there was no way to move forward. We know the story. They're going through the flow to get to the other side. Um everybody say the miraculous goes before us. That happens when there's a measure of deliverance in the miraculous goes before you. But when it's time to step into promise, you go before the miraculous. At the point of Jordan before they crossed over, there was no they had to step in the flow. And when they stepped in, then the miraculous. So it's not enough to find the flow. You gotta step in. And when you step in, I feel this for somebody today that God has led you to this point in your ministry where the miraculous led your decisions and led your direction. Hallelujah. But in this level of flow, you are going to have to know the mind of God so much that you know what steps to take to release the miraculous. So you will move, then God will move. Prior to this flow, God moved and you followed, but now God has caused the flow to come behind you, and you must go forward by faith. And in that dimension of the gifts of faith, hallelujah, you will step in, and then God, when He sees your act of faith, hallelujah, when there is no wind, you will see the miracles follow. In this dimension, we don't follow miracles.
SPEAKER_01:Miracles follow us.
SPEAKER_03:I will move you from strength to strength. I will move you for your wells as you dig deep, you find my flow. As you dig, the suffering and the things that you have endured, you have dug down into my flow, which I then flood, and I flood your wells. And those wells that you dig, I will move them and make them bigger. For I will take you from little strength to great strength, as I move you into Zion, saith the Lord. I will walk with you through the valley, I will be with you on the top. But you must know the path that I have ordained before you. Walk with me in the flow, and I will bring you from strength to strength, and I will make it rain for thee.
SPEAKER_00:Find the flow. Step in it. And the last component is to stay in it. Don't step out. Stay in it. We all know that story about David defeating Goliath and and I want to be very careful how I frame this. I don't want you to misunderstand or misquote me on it. Saul wanted to equip this next generation. He wanted to give it to them. They couldn't use it. Had not proven it. That's not what God did in him. And there's gonna be elders that want to give stuff to you, Brother Marks. You can't use it. It's not yours. You didn't dig that out. You know where he went? He put aside all of his armor, all of the sword. I can't you you're a that's kingly weaponry. Surely. If I'm wearing this, oh if everybody saw me with this on. No, I can't do it. This battle is too important for me to just look good. I'm going back to where I know the real weapons are. And you know, when I walk up there, I probably won't see it. But if I get in it, if I reach my hand in there, I'm gonna find something that won't make sense when it works. And the only reason it works is because it stayed there. You know why there was five smooth stones in there? Because at some point they might have chipped off a probably a bigger stone, probably with fragments and pieces that were rough around the edges, and it can't use it when it's still rough around the edges. You know how God's gonna prepare it to be used? Get it in the flow because when the flow begins to rush over you, it will smooth over every rough attitude, every sharp word that you will lash back because you learned it from your culture and how how you used to act in your family, and you oh, this is just my personality. No, it's not you anymore. You now represent the flow now.
SPEAKER_01:You can be used for something that is bigger than you, something that will outlive you because you allowed the flow to change you and prepare you and wash over you.
SPEAKER_00:And when the hand comes upon you, it doesn't matter if nobody knows your name and God hid you because you stayed in the flow, and you're looking at everybody else in the shiny armors that's all around. Oh no, God said, I hid you, hallelujah.
SPEAKER_01:I don't they don't, it doesn't matter that they don't know your name, I know your name because you stayed in the place where I can mold you and make you hallelujah, and now I can use you for something bigger than you, hallelujah.
SPEAKER_00:And he's saying with me, he's gonna do it, he's gonna do it for you, he's gonna do it for you, hallelujah! He's gonna do it for you, hallelujah. Come on, come on. Some of you have already lived this, some of you have already lived this, hallelujah, and God begin to use you for things bigger than you, hallelujah, and then all of a sudden, when all eyes are upon you, they want to fight you for your flow, hallelujah. But don't you be discouraged, don't you stop? Hallelujah, because there's more when that turns wrong, and if you stay low and stay humble, you'll realize I don't have to get higher, I can get deeper. Oh, listen, let's stop right here. Somebody needs encouragement right now. Hallelujah.
