A whiteboard hijacks our Zoom, but it can’t derail the mission. We gather, pray, and then dive straight into a hard question: how do we keep preaching when culture tells us to quiet down? We'll figure out how to lock it down. Y'all y'all just sent me into a nervous breakdown. I was like what in the world is going on Apostolic mentoring mentoriapostolica I thought dear lord this is we have been hijacked I'm so excited to be here with you on Apostolic Mentoring today. We spent the weekend in Kentucky and in Tennessee. And we were with uh Bishop Todd Nichols in um in Tennessee in Tennessee uh forgive me I am actually believe it or not there is a lot of stuff going on right now in the background and I am literally I I keep having to shut things down so I might have to kick somebody out of apostolic mentoring on Zoom here if they don't uh pull themselves together and stop trying to do stuff. All right I'm just gonna be open. Because we have a kingdom purpose on this platform and it is to propagate the gospel. And I just won't tolerate distractions or confusion or people trying to do their own thing. Five years we've been having apostolic mentoring every single Tuesday 1 p.m eastern time if you're new to apostolic mentoring we welcome you apostólica te damos la bienvenida we want you to feel at home on this platform we want you to be blessed on the Zoom live feed we are here for one purpose it is to see the kingdom of God accelerate advance and multiply and so we are here to serve one another we are in the partnership of faith and because of the kingdom critical element of this podcast we just can't afford to have any distractions going on and people doing their own thing so everybody knows I love everybody knows I love everybody.

So many people of God that just want to be greater used of the Lord and I don't want to disrespect anybody that's come here hungry but no quiero faltar I want to make sure this is a safe place for people to be fed, healed strengthened and empowered salvo donde la gente puede venir a recibir fortaleza y recibir palabra de Dios so as I was saying we had a wonderful weekend in Tennessee and in Kentucky in Kentucky in Kentucky we were with Bishop Nichols and oh my goodness we had an amazing Jesus tent revival we did uh we did church in the park and I don't have all the numbers in front of me but over 250 people were baptized in Jesus' name were filled with the Holy Ghost then Sister Robinette and I got in the car on Saturday night and drove to Memphis and we had such a great service with with Bishop Parkey and their great Grace Life Churching and we had 15 more get the Holy Ghost on Sunday morning four were baptized in Jesus' name 33 testified of miracles in their bodies and we are living in the last days everything is picking up speed the kingdom of God is accelerating right now and one of the greatest aspects of the win your world meeting that I was I was at in Kentucky was one of our very own apostolic mentoring team members brother and sister Azar que son miembros de Mentor and brother and sister Azar came to the win your world conference and a session and taught a session on culture and the kingdom compartir conosion acerca de lo que quiere decir cultura and as soon as we can I'm gonna have brother and sister azar do a three week session on the cult on culture and kingdom.

Brother Hammond is the student pastor at first apostolic church and it is the church in Maryville Tennessee. So I wasn't too far from brother Hammond just a couple days ago I had to drive eight hours just to see him on Zoom. But I'm so thrilled to get to host Brother Hammond today. And he is the author of several books but one of the books that I want to spotlight and and is already in the information section of the Facebook feed, the YouTube feed is a book called Curiosity versus Conviction. This book I haven't read it yet because I just heard about it. But I have it in my cart on Amazon right now.

And I'm also thankful that the Lord is doing a great work and be able to bring your reports of students being filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and being baptized in Jesus' name. God is doing a great work one great testimony was a young man who was Lutheran who had been seeking the Holy Ghost for two years received the Holy Ghost Sunday. I want to say thank you to all the translators and I apologize for my southern accent I'll do my best today. I simply want to speak to you about the truth today. What we see in our world right now I believe is the enemy's last ditch effort attack against the church. Understand the enemy Satan is is all out everything he can do against the church today.

SPEAKER_00:

Revelation chapter 12 he calls it an uh a flood out of his mouth a flood of iniquity against the church in capital 12 Jesus warned us about these last days that we are living in as I speak to missionaries and pastors across the globe it seems that they are all feeling this pressure against the truth.

SPEAKER_02:

So I take you to the book of Jeremiah in chapter 32 where he was talking about last days and the destruction of Jerusalem. At this time the army of the king of Babylon was holding Jerusalem under siege. It's Jeremiah 32 Jeremiah 32 and I will if you want to read that later on I'm gonna surmise that for you okay sounds good at the time the army of the king of Babylon was holding Jerusalem under siege.

SPEAKER_00:

Jeremiah was shut up in jail in la cartel and the king of Judah had locked him up and was complaining to him and this is what I want to talk to you about today.

SPEAKER_02:

He was telling Jeremiah how dare you preach a predicar in the midst of all that's going on how dare you preach a predicar in the midst of all the turmoil in the midst of the condition of our world today he says to the prophet how dare you preach a predicar in our world today with frightening issues things we've never faced before how dare you get up and you preach or you teach the gospel of Jesus Christ a predicar ahora that's what we're facing today. People don't want to be told what to do today how dare you preach a predicar ahora for some of us it's it's asking all sorts of ways how dare you have so many church services are you really going to keep teaching those Bible studies bíblicos in the middle of chaos of our world today the solution is still and will always be the word of God Jeremiah in chapter 32 if you read it in its entirety later you will see that with imminent destruction staring at the world in the face of Jeremiah God is he tells us the same thing I believe in this day.

Let's look at Jeremiah 32 if you would pull this up for me I just feel led to read this and verse number six Okay Jeremiah in Jeremias 326 If you see the word of the Lord came unto me saying Behold Hanamil the son of Shulom thine uncle shall come unto thee saying Buy thee my field that is in Anatha for the right of redemption is thine to buy it God tells the people to do something that seems absolutely ridiculous throughout this chapter. With all the problems with all the imminent destruction staring at them in the face eminent God tells them to put it in the people buy into the people it looks like they're going to resist and reject you parece como que te van a rechazar and some probably will but he says you need to put it into the people invest into the people Jeremiah writes take everything you fought for everything you've paid for and put it in an earthen vessel Dice Jeremiah ponlo in algo in una heredad It looks like such a risk but he says put it in the people a la gente is the greatest investment that you can make even in the midst of all the problems.

SPEAKER_02:

Toward the end of the chapter he says houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land. Every sacrifice you're making if you're putting it in the people it's going to be worth it. Every sacrifice you make to take time out of your schedule to speak life, to speak the word of God to someone it's gonna be worth it all. Let me connect a New Testament passage with that old testament prophet today.

SPEAKER_00:

A very familiar passage bastante conocido but we have this treasure in earthen vessel that the excellent sea of the power may be of God and not of usetroom just like Jeremiah we are troubled on every side distress tenemos problemas por todos lados pero no estamos desamparados ni angustiados we are perplexed but not in despairos pero no desesperados persecuted but not forsaken perseguidos butnarados cast down but not destroyed derivados pero no destruidos I feel the presence of the Lord today and I just want you to know that no matter what you're going through God is with you.

SPEAKER_02:

And he sees that you are still putting the putting the investments in the right place and that is the people reaches back into Jeremiah and he uses this concept of putting it in the people when everything's going wrong and you're you're you feel like you're surrounded by destruction destruction ministry el ministerio ministry is what will bring back the vineyards and the fields and the houses and the blessings I pray for some minister today That you will receive the word of the Lord. Keep doing what you're doing. You may feel like you're in a prison. You may feel like you're in a place you can't get out. But when we can't get out, God can get in. Because his purpose is to be in the people. We are facing an attack against truth. Where a world is trying to tell us not to preach, not to minister. Because the devil knows that that's the solution. There has always been an imbalance in false doctrine of spirit and truth. I am fourth and fifth generation apostolic on both sides of my family. God has been very good to me. That being said, I've heard many stories of the forefathers of the faith. They were crazy. But they wouldn't have any sort of move of God in their churches. Where everyone may have dressed and looked alike, but they had a move of God like no one else. A Pentecostal Apostolic Move of the Holy Ghost was not accepted.

SPEAKER_00:

We have lived long enough to see the shift of spirit and truth.

SPEAKER_02:

And the covering narrower than he can wrap himself in. They surround themselves with people who think who have the same inward conversations that they do. And let it fuel us to ministry. We can't become uh just distracted by the ways of our world. They will sink through the internet to try to trip you up, to try to point you out. Just like they did to Jesus, the Pharisees and the Sadducees tried to catch him in a lie. They tried to do anything they could to cause people to have doubt in him. But God knows what he's doing. Because he didn't just give us Matthew. Nobody was ever baptized in the titles. But just as a security blanket. Jeremiah 5 and 3 says, Oh Lord, are not thine eyes upon the truth?

SPEAKER_00:

Jeremiah 5 3, O Senor, no stands ojos sobre la verdad.

SPEAKER_02:

Brother Robinet, I pray this prayer every single day. I feel the Holy Ghost to let somebody feel the comforter of truth, which is the Holy Ghost. He says, I'm going away, but I'm going to send you a comforter. His eyes are on truth. I hope that encourages you today.

SPEAKER_00:

If you're a preacher of the truth, his eyes are on you today.

SPEAKER_02:

But his eyes are also upon those that you're trying to lead to the truth. Because it's not about a location. He said that prodigal son was in the pig pen, but he came to himself. Because the eyes of the Lord are upon truth. And we must share it. Jeremiah says that they've healed the people slightly, saying, peace, peace when there is no peace. Too many people have a half-truth trying to help a dying world. It's a small bed and a short blanket. But you have what this world needs. And that's the truth, that's the comforter, that's the Holy Ghost, that's the gospel of the apostolic doctrine. The end is coming. And we must tell people the truth. He seemed like he had lost his mind in his day. But just like that flood was a light figure of baptism. We must be born again of the water and of the spirit. Paul even said to the church at Galatia, have I become your enemy because I'm trying to help you. So let your prayer be that God send you to somebody who's looking for truth. He said, Why do you not understand my speech? That's the question he asked. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth. Because there is no truth in him. And the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not. Understand the writing here. The devil is a liar. And there's no truth in him. There's no truth in him. And he is attempting to destroy ministries and churches with just a portion of truth. We must understand what we're up against today. It's an attack of Satan against the truth that we stand for. I encourage you to keep preaching the truth. In the midst of destruction. In perilous times. Where it seems like everybody's trying to catch you in a lie. And there's a challenge to keep our vain imaginations under control. Hold on to that word of God. Hold on to that call of God. And I believe today more than ever before. That if I have a word for you in closing, it's this. But you do not have to be telling them. So I challenge you to know the truth. Preach the truth. Love the truth. Let that word be what washes you every day. But it's the washing by the word. Each and every day that gives me the name of authority over my life. I have to read that word and allow that authority to remind me not to believe the lies of the enemy. That He is the way. The way is our Pentecostal experience. The truth is our apostolic doctrine. We have to stand for that apostle's doctrine. Continue steadfastly in it in these last days. The way, the truth, the life. They represent this entire global apostolic movement. That no matter what they're up against in their world that they live in. That you are the way that we are looking for. And you want to encourage them today. Lord, bless their families and bless their homes today. Lord, I thank you for your presence that we feel on this Zoom call today. Let us see revival across our land. And let us experience the great harvest, O God, of those looking for truth. Lord, use us in these last days. To be your church, oh God. That we present a bride without spot or blemish. Oh God, and we one day want to spend forever with you. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Thank you all so much for allowing me to be with you today.

Oh, praise God. Thank you, Brother Hammond, for being with us this afternoon. What a powerful and timely word. As he was praying, the Lord quickened into my spirit, Proverbs 23. Everybody on here knows that that scripture. It's in verse uh 23, Proverbs 23, verse 23. But it just kept being impressed into my spirit. Buy the truth and sell it not. We don't have time to be for in this hour of the church. Not an ounce of our doctrine's for sale. Not an ounce of truth is for sale. Not an ounce of holiness is for sale. I've made up my mind. There's nothing that I'm willing to give up for this gospel of the kingdom. There's nothing I wouldn't give up for this. I wouldn't sell it for anything. Just preach the gospel. Thank you, Brother Hammond. We love you.
