gospel of Jesus Christ. Here recently, we are currently renovating now a 53,000 square foot facility with 10 plus acres. God has opened up tremendous doors. Last year, we had 99 people filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and baptized 94 people in the name of Jesus. There is a true undercurrent of what God is wanting to do in our world. I'm going to read from us today from John chapter 17 and talk about this secret of apostolic revival. John chapter 17, verses 20 through 23.

I recently read a book by the Virginia District Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church, Jack Cunningham.

But this book is currently out of print now. I think we just lost them again. This book is out of print now. But in his book, he explains that the overlooked key to apostolic revival is unity. He mentions that in a global board meeting that he was in back in the 90s, he observed how each international, national leader made some comment that attributed to their great and minding revivals that they were having. And during this time when he was in these global board meetings, there were thousands, we're talking thousands being filled with the Holy Ghost. Revivals such as uh in Ethiopia with Teclamary, revivals in Thailand with Apostle Billy Cole and uh many others, just to name a few. Nations

The Secret Of Apostolic Revival: Unity

were being shaken, and he said he was just in awe of these wonderful testimonies of how there was such global revival breaking out. But one thing that he said he observed indirectly or directly, every national leader made the same comment. They all made the comment such as we were unified. It happened when we were unified. And when I began to think upon this observation, I began to reflect on all of the greatest revivals that have happened here just in the Western history. For those who may be familiar with such revivals such as the Azusa Street Revival, where the Holy Ghost poured out in a very magnificent way and it impacted the globe. Revivals such as Zion Hittie or Zion City and Spokane, Washington with John G. Lake and just different pioneers that that had uh a unique allowance of allowing God to flow through them, they impacted the entire world. And these revivals they burned very bright, and in their time, uh they they did what God intends for every revival to do that is impact the world. Many would say that these revivals were birthed in prayer, which I believe is true. But when we begin to take a closer look at these revivals, we can see that their prayers were the byproduct of another factor, which is perfected unity. They had unified prayers, they had a unified purpose, they were situated for a unified revival. Unity was their secret to apostolic revival. And I truly believe that we can see, and we are seeing, I don't I don't I don't think we're waiting for revival to happen. I honestly believe that we are in this revival. One thing that the Lord revealed to me in prayer a month or so ago, he says, we're in this, but we're going to start seeing acceleration to it. As things begin to grow and as the momentum begins to push, there's going to be an acceleration. And I want to share this with you what we see in John chapter 17. Jesus prayed that we would discover this secret in John chapter 17, verse 21, when he said that they also may be one in us. Now, watch what happens when we become one in the spirit and the body of Jesus Christ. For some people, the us throws off their theology, but for us who are apostolics, we understand it means the physical body being unified with the spirit of God Himself. The physical body is the local church, the global kingdom. The spirit is God. So when the physical becomes unified with the spirit, look what Jesus says would happen. The world may believe that you sent me the entire world. Jesus believed that unity would cause the whole world to believe, just not individuals, just not neighborhoods, not even just cities. But there he says, when the church becomes one, there was going to be a true awakening that would open the spiritual eyes of the entire world. That God has given us the blueprint. He has given your local ministry the key to how to have apostolic revival when the church becomes one. Now, in American culture and American church, it would appear that the American church, uh, we are we have become dependent on facilitating godly morality through politics and in parties and policies. And in America, here in our nation, we have these wonderful freedoms and privileges to express those things at the voting ballots and things like that. But when we peel back the human element and we begin to take a closer look, we can see that there is a powerful kingdom called the kingdom of heaven. And Jesus reveals to us that if the people of this kingdom are unified. If we can put aside our opinions, I have we just here in the last month, we we had a lady come in, deaf lady, medically diagnosed deaf, prayed for the lady. Within 30 seconds, her medically deaf ears opened up. After she was healed, more deaf people started. And do you know we have a deaf ministry in our church right now? We have a sign language ministry because of one miracle. Maybe God will heal them all. I have no idea, but I do know people are being filled with the Holy Ghost. I do know that unity, when we rally around the glory of God, when we get rid of our own opinions, when we get rid of our own motives and secret agendas, if we can just say, Lord, I want to be unified around this powerful kingdom, we are going to see apostolic revival. Jesus reveals to us that there is a powerful force of faith that would cause the world. That blows my it will cause the world to put their faith in Christ Jesus. Think about your work. Think about your local context. Think about your church. Think about your local ministry. Jesus has given you the promise. Hallelujah. He has given you the promise that if we become unified, we will bring a release of faith into the world that we're in, and people will be saved. This means

Global Revivals And Unified Prayer

that our only battle is ourselves. Do you know the devil is no match for the apostolic church? The devil is no match for what God is going to do in your ministry. The only battle is keeping ourselves unified. Our faith, our unity can release saving faith. Now, this means the simple and obtainable things that we do in unity now will have a bigger impact. It has a rippling effect that can go beyond our natural abilities and our natural borders. We had a lady, we've been seeing some of the most extraordinary miracles happen in our church. We have had people filled with the Holy Ghost baptized in the name of Jesus every single, every single week. We are just seeing the ministry of Jesus have true effect. We had a lady whose liver was eaten up by cirrhosis, cirrhosis of the litter, liver. She got prayed for. So it's going to be a very short, very short. I was factoring in translation, but we cut off the middle, man. So oh my goodness. And after I get through these reflection questions, um, I'll share something about the glory. We'll give you a little, give you a little something, make your your call today worthwhile. All right. I want you to hear some of uh I want you to think of these particular questions. Um, you can write these questions down. Um go back and listen to them if you don't catch them the first time. Write them down and take some time of prayer and answer these questions. Question number one in my local ministry, what would unity look like among the believers here? What would unity look like amongst us? What would we be doing? How would we be treating one another? That's the big question. How would we be treating one another? How different would our attitudes be than they are right now? Apostle Philip Holtz once said, the only thing that hinders revival is our stinking attitudes. And I am a firm believer, it is my attitude, not your attitude, my attitude. Jesus fix my attitude. Secondly, what is the single big picture impact you believe the Lord is directing your ministry to do to make uh a local impact? What is the big picture impact? Now, the big picture we all know is to see people filled with the Holy Ghost, baptized in his name. But how is he wanting to do that? Perhaps it's by serving the fatherless in your local community, perhaps it's reaching across cultural and ethnic barriers wherever you are. Perhaps the Lord has given you a uh a directive to start reaching for business owners, executives, political figures with the gospel of Jesus Christ. What is that impact the Lord is saying? I want you to go forth. I want you to go do it. I want you to have faith. This uh building that the Lord has given us, um, we have many unique opportun, many unique things that are um that we're doing out of it. We're doing sober living homes, daycares, we're setting up all kinds of stuff. It was an old hospital. I wish I could show you a picture. It was an old hospital, very big, bigger than what we are naturally in this season of life right now. And when we got it, the bank didn't want us to have it because it would take millions more money than we actually have. But there's a scripture the Lord has given me, and it says He created the world with his word and the breath of his mouth, that God can create resources out of thin air. I don't, I just may be gullible, naive, and idiotic. If I can use that word, I don't even know if that's a translatable word. But God can, if He can create an earth out of nothing, what is a couple million dollars to our God? And sure enough, God created resources out of thin air for us. He sent one man, his name is John. John has the best construction company in Southwest Virginia, very strong, very effective uh construction company company. And one night when John

Oneness That Makes The World Believe

was laying down in his bed, John does not attend our church, he's not a member of First Church. God spoke to John and said, John, do you know why I've allowed your business to be so blessed? John said, No. He says, Because that church over there on Franklin Street is doing my work. I have given your business its blessings so that you will do the renovations on a project that they're working on right now. And so John begins to share this with the people that he knew was connected to our church. And I went to John, I said, John, are you sure this is what God said to you? This is a big project. He said, uh Reverend, God said, if I did not help you, that He would take me out of this world and He would bring me up there and He would deal with me. And He said, I refuse to be dealt with by God. This one single man has taken a million, multi-million dollar project, and he is renovating our space. We're looking to be in it in the next several months by one man, by the word of God, the breath of his mouth, resources coming out of thin air. I want you, I want to, I want you to stop. I just want to pray before I go through these next practical questions. I want to pray for you. I want you to keep thinking out of your mind where is the resource going to come from? How is it going to work out? I'm telling you, Israel, when Pharaoh was on their tail, they had a sea in front of them out of thin air, a highway was created on the middle of the sea. If God did it for Israel, who was not filled with the Holy Ghost, how much more will he do it for his children? And we are born by his spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the resources to come. Lord, I command faith in the name of Jesus. Remove all doubt, remove all fear. Lord, I re I pray that you would open the mind and the eyes of every listener. Let them see that you are leading them, you are guiding them through the wilderness. There is a promise, there are vineyards they are going to eat from, there are wells they are going to drink from, there are houses that they are going to sleep in that they themselves have not touched nor done. It is your promise, it is your word. According to your word, God, receive it right now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, Jesus. I want to pray for someone right now, and I want to pray for your body and your health and your healing. You're allowing whatever is taking place in your body to make you doubt, God, is this the end? God is this is where it's going to stop. I'm here to tell you, just like he told the Hebrew boys, they looked at that fiery furnace and says, if this is the end, we're going to worship God. But if it's not the end, we're going to worship God. I'm here to tell you, you got a fiery furnace in front of you. But there's going to be a man named Jesus Christ that's going to get in that furnace with you. I command that sickness to leave your body. I command the spirit of fear, the spirit of doubt, the spirit of anxiety. I command it to leave in the name of Jesus. The Lord Himself, he rebukes you, Satan. You let the people of God go, you let their bodies go. You let their minds go. You let their thoughts go in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. We want to be unified. We want to be unified, God, according to your faith, according to your will, Jesus. Hallelujah, Jesus. Hallelujah. I want to end with these few reflection questions on this uh call. Um, this this this for me this afternoon. Are there relationships that you need to strengthen? Relationships you need to repair. Are there relationships that you need to approach with humility? I just taught a series, I just taught a lesson to our married couples. I like this word. I'm big on this word secret right now for some reason. I have no idea why. But I said the secret is humility. It's it's so, it's such, it's such an insignificant word in our current world today, but it is the power of God for the meek, the humble will inherit what the earth. He doesn't say the skillful, he doesn't say those that have uh doctor's degrees, he doesn't say those that can read Greek and Hebrew. Of course, my phone is going off. It's not the devil. He doesn't, he doesn't say you gotta be a doctor in theology or have a great education or you gotta have this or that or be skillful or write a book. No, he says the humble, the humility, the humble ones are gonna inherit the earth. I'm here to tell you, all you need right now is to become unified with humility, and you will inherit everything. The scripture says, take your foot from the Sabbath. He says, stop doing your own desire, and you will be fed, nourished by the heritage of Jacob. That's God's word. He says, You won't, you're not gonna live by your own ability. That's what that's the problem we're having in in the apostolic world today. We believe that we can just simply do this thing on our own. We get our nice little systems and our processes, and we get our little boxes, and we get our little personal ministries, and we're thinking we're going. I don't ever want to get where I'm dependent on nothing but the word

Miracles Flow Where Unity Leads

of I want to be unified with the kingdom of God with humility. Approach with humility so that God can use you for global revival. Second, last question: Do my prayers have the aroma of unity and purpose? What do my prayers smell like? What do my prayers sound like? How am I joining others in prayer with a unified heart? Are our prayers completely enamored by my own personal needs? Am I praying 15 minutes, 20 minutes, and I'm done because I have nothing else to pray for because I've spent all my time praying for my bills, praying that the Lord will heal me, praying that the Lord will fix my car, praying that the Lord will help me do this, Lord, give me another promotion on the job, Lord, do this, do this, more things that you don't even need prayer to do. If you go and just put a little skill and discipline, you can get those things in an earthly way. I want to use my prayers for only things God can do. I am not gonna read, I'm not wasted, we don't have that much time in the day. Prayer is hard enough as it is hard to fight against this flesh. And I'm not gonna use my time to fight my flesh for something that I can go do if I go read a book or listen to a podcast on YouTube about. I'm gonna use prayer to touch the feet in the throne of Jesus and to reach his ears so that he can only do it. Prayer is only about the things that God can do. Only God can bring revival in the nation of America, only God can bring revival in the nation of Mexico, only God can bring revival in the Middle Eastern, in the Israel nations. Only God can do those types of things. Only God can save your lost family members. Only God can, only God can do it. Use your time of prayer to be unified with things of the kingdom. Hallelujah. Let's pray. Father, in your name, Jesus. I thank you, God. Thank you so much for these wonderful, precious people. Thank you for your word. I thank you so much that you are listening to us and you're right here with us. God, that's such a wonderful privilege. Not only do we get to share in your word, but you are personally present. You say we're there two or three in your name, Lord, that you are personally there and you're with us right now. We thank you. Anything can happen. Amen. Praise the Lord. What a powerful, apostolic, kingdom critical word that we have received today. That was just my my heart is leaping here in Columbus, Ohio. I want to work together in the spirit of unity. I want to get this partnership of faith, this partnership of faith thing figured out in the kingdom of God so that we can do every great thing that the word of God has promised and prophesied. I think it was Bobby Wade that said that the promises and prophecies of God are not self-fulfilling. You gotta do something. You can't say I want miracles and not love your brother. You can't say I want to reach my city and not love your brother. You you gotta work together in unity. You can't say you want a God-sized revival, but you can't work together in the partnership of faith. That that's such a that's a contradiction. You say you want God-sized revival, but you want to do it by yourself. That is not a God-sized way of working. God has always orchestrated the kingdom that it would be a partnership, a two by two, a unity, a fellowship. That is the way that God works. If you try to do it any other way, you're not gonna get a God-sized revival. You gotta work with your brother, you gotta work with your sister, you gotta be humble, you gotta swallow your pride, you gotta find a way to collaborate, cooperate, communicate that that honors God and honors the kingdom. Uh what a word. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Pastor Johnson. Thank you for this incredible kingdom revelatory word today.
