Apostolic Mentoring
Ending Gossip To Make Room For Mercy! ... English & French
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A revival worth praying for begins with the courage to repair what our words have broken. We open with a clear vision—restore—and press into a hard truth: the church often treats sexual sin as fatal while giving gossip, criticism, and slander a pass. That double standard chokes reconciliation, drives repentant people into the arms of communities that feel safer, and delays the prodigal awakening we claim to want.
We walk through the biblical case for restoration, naming how James, Proverbs, Galatians, and the Gospels confront tailbearing and devouring. Then we move from conviction to craft. What does a real path home look like? Honor for the fivefold ministry—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers—so correction and compassion live together. Spirit-led leadership that disciplines without destroying. Practical repair that goes beyond a vague apology: call the person you maligned, retract the rumor with those you misled, and refuse to fuel the fire with fresh wood.
Along the way, we share a raw personal story about a false report that lingered for years, showing how lies shadow a life long after the moment passes. The lesson is not to go soft on sin; it’s to go strong on mercy. We are not called to accuse like Satan or judge like God. We are called to restore, reconcile, and protect the anointed so gifts can flourish and prodigals can find their way home. If we want stadiums and cities to open, our mouths must open to bless, not to bruise.
Join us as we trade rumor for repentance, suspicion for shepherding, and division for Spirit-led unity. Subscribe, share this with a leader who needs it, and leave a review with one action you’ll take to make restoration real this week.
We love to hear from our listeners! Thank you!

SPEAKER_01to the YouTube channel, you'll have access to every single language that we are working with on a weekly basis. And oh my goodness, did we have some powerful men's devotions and men's prayer meetings that just, oh man, just such a fresh anointing came on all of the men. And I I just want to give honor to Pastor Garwick and the Brother Vogel for their leadership of that meeting.
Men’s Retreat Stories And Humor
SPEAKER_01And I think they're talking about me being alive. That is the miracle on the slopes. He hit me so hard that my skis came off in the air. But uh sincerely, the time with with that church and with all of those brethren was such a just a special, special time. And I would like to just make a plug to all the churches and pastors out there. And even a hunting men's retreat. If it's a hunting men's retreat, I'm available as well.
SPEAKER_02And if it's a retreat for the zombie, she's also disposable.
SPEAKER_01But but specifically skiing. I'm always available for skiing, and the Lord, the Lord wants me to be a part of your men's ministry ski retreat. But I I just I love the Garwick family. I want to say that one more time. They're so special. But I I really uh just feel so excited about what God is doing through apostolic mentoring. And uh the word or the focus or the vision that God has given apostolic mentoring for 2026 is restore. And God is making it clear to his global church
Vision For 2026: Restore
SPEAKER_01dans le monde if we are going to be a part of his kingdom mission, if we're going to be participants instead of spectators, if we are going to be the tip of the spear instead of armchair quarterbacks, if we're gonna be the tip of the spear instead of be a part of these forum fanatics, if you're going to be uh the tip of the spear instead of a living room loser, if we're gonna be the ones that fill stadiums, if we're gonna fill soccer fields, if we're gonna fill up theaters and gymnasiums, if we are going to be the initiators and facilitators of billions of souls being added to the church in these last days, then we must submit to the restoration of these things. Number one, the full activation, honor, respect, and esteem of the entire five-fold ministry. That includes apostles and prophets. And if you did not listen to that episode a few weeks back about the restoration of apostles and prophets, you must go back and listen to the podcast, watch the YouTube video, because it is so important that we get that right.
Fivefold Ministry And Gifts Recovered
SPEAKER_01Not just the gifts that we're comfortable with. Not just the giftings that we are familiar with, but we must prayerfully and humbly pursue and make room for the manifestation and operation of the gifts of the spirit. But on top of all of those items that we just discussed and and we've been discussing over the last few weeks, we must restore something that is very, very important. This is something that the global church is lacking in such a great way.
The Missing Path Of Restoration
SPEAKER_01I already know this is gonna stir up some people. I operate in the gift of faith and the gift of offense. And I I don't even worry about it anymore. I used it used to grieve me. But now I've just accepted my role in the kingdom. I am the guy that pokes the bear in the kingdom of God. And I want to say out loud. Yes, the fall of our brothers and sisters into fornication is a sin. Yes, adultery is not just a grievous failure, it is a sin. Yes, lust, pornography, and sexual addiction are destructive and must be repented of because they are sin. But God has sent me to speak plainly to his global church today.
Naming Sin: Lust And Gossip Alike
SPEAKER_01Lust is sin. Sexual addiction, perversion is sin. But you know what else is sin? Gossip is sin. Criticism is sin. Slander is sin. And far too often the church treats sexual sin as deadly. While we treat gossip as acceptable conversation. Somebody say, Oh man, we're in trouble now.
SPEAKER_02We discipline and we set apart those who fail in adultery.
SPEAKER_01This is a fact. But we excuse character assassination in the body.
SPEAKER_02And then we act like we are so confused why prodigals don't come home.
SPEAKER_01We act oblivious to why God-gifted and truly repentant people fall into the arms of charismatics. We act like it's weird or bizarre that these people that have repented of their sins, they fall into the arms of these false doctrine preaching organizations.
Why Prodigals Seek Mercy Elsewhere
SPEAKER_02And I would propose this to you today.
SPEAKER_01In many cases, these fallen warriors are just looking for a path of restoration that we, the oneness and holiness people, refuse to provide. You have sexual failure, it's sin. But many of us operate in this beautiful satanic gifting of condemnation. Instead of operating in the God calling of restoration and reconciliation. We don't give people a path to be restored, so they have to look for it somewhere else. And here's the tragedy. Because she can't text and drive at the same time. That's illegal. And I'm sure she'd be texting me right now saying, Oh baby, be careful. But I want you to listen to me today. Because God sent me to stir up conversation about restoration of his people amongst his people. Here's what we say, let's be honest. We say, see, look, look, look at that. We were correct to give them no way home. We were correct to spread evil about them. See, their decision is justification of our restoration immaturity.
Called To Restore Not Accuse
SPEAKER_01But here's what the Holy Ghost is going to tell you today. All those wounded warriors falling into the arms of the ungodly is not an indictment against them. And it's not confirmation that your criticism, gossip, and slander was justified. The mercy we refuse to offer, they found somewhere else. And let's be honest. You guys know that I always talk plain. Somebody that you all love and appreciate very much.
Scripture On Division And Devouring
SPEAKER_01And God told me to tell his people today. You better hear his voice. And you better get restoration and reconciliation right in his kingdom. And part of getting that right is this.
SPEAKER_00Look at Proverbs 26 and verse 20.
SPEAKER_01The Bible says this. Where no wood is, the fire goeth out. So where there is no tailbearer, the strife stops. I want you to understand today. The Lord is just as sickened by gossip as he is about sexual sin. Somebody that commits adultery is bound
Slander, False Reports, And Consequences
SPEAKER_01for the same destination as somebody who commits the sin of gossip. Except a gossiper repents, he shall likewise perish.
SPEAKER_02According to the book of Proverbs.
SPEAKER_01And you know who actually is called to do that? Not the body. That's something that you gotta deal with. You are not called to accuse.
SPEAKER_00You are called to restore. You are not called to gossip.
SPEAKER_01You are called to reconciliation. How many prodigals have committed suicide because of your evil words? God is speaking to the global church. It's not just gossip that's a sin.
SPEAKER_02But criticism and backbiting are sins as well.
SPEAKER_01You're quick to talk about adultery. You're quick to speak about fornication. You're so quick to talk about pornography. And rightfully so.
SPEAKER_02But you ignore James 4 and 11.
SPEAKER_01James chapter 4 and verse 11 says this. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. Ephesians 4 and 31 says this.
Repentance, Repairing Words, And Reconciliation
SPEAKER_01It says, Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor, and here it is, and evil speaking be put away from you. But the fruit of criticism is always division. And we talked about that a few weeks ago on apostolic mentoring. That sin of division. That is not a godly characteristic. It is a satanic characteristic. And here's what Paul warned the church. In Galatians 5 and 15. This is a powerful revelatory scripture. It says in Galatians 5 and 15, this right here. But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. All criticism does is feed the flesh. All that criticism facilitates. But you know what else you're not called to? You're not called to be the judge, just like you're not called to be the accuser. The accuser is Satan. The judge is God. Your job is to restore and reconcile. And you cannot restore somebody you are secretly devouring. Another thing that we've got to deal with. Slander is an abomination to God. Look at Exodus chapter 23 and verse 1. The Bible says this thou shalt not raise a false report. There is nothing more demoralizing and heartbreaking than when somebody makes up a lie. When they just create something out of thin air. And it angers God.
Spirit-Led Mercy And Prodigal Revival
SPEAKER_01When I preached that at the Apostolic Conference.
SPEAKER_02No truth to it.
SPEAKER_01Just a false report. Just a lie. That false report, I've got to be honest with you, broke my heart. I was swinging at ghosts, trying to let everybody know I still believe the truth. Everywhere I went, I was in the shadow of this man's lie.
Final Charge: Touch Not God’s Anointed
SPEAKER_02But a false report broke my heart. And look what God said about those kind of liars.
SPEAKER_01In Psalm 101 and verse 5. This is so important that you understand this. He that privately slandereth his neighbor, him will I cut off. God will not tolerate a man that slanders and and attacks his body. You might keep preaching, but God is gonna deal with your mouth. You might keep on serving like everything's alright, but the day is coming where you will give an account for your words. Slander is not just a sin. It is destructive. Slander kills reputations. It causes somebody to lose their way and their ministry. That is what you are doing, is assassinating the call of God on somebody's life. Just shut your mouth. I remember growing up, my mama used to say. If you've got nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.
SPEAKER_00Stop making up stuff.
SPEAKER_01It is a tragedy when somebody gets involved in the sin of slander because it destroys reputations, ministries, and callings. Just this week. Just this week I get a I was talking to a brother. And here's what the brother said. He said, Brother Robinette, I heard this rumor about you. This was a rumor from back in 2019. A lie that this guy had told about me not believing the gospel. That lie is still out there in the airwaves. Because here's what Jesus said. In Matthew 12 and 37. He said, By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Your words matter. And I'm gonna go as far as to say this. I think she's worried I'm gonna name names. I'm not naming names. But I'm dealing with things that are hurting the body. Words matter. And you don't only just need to repent to God when you repent over the lies you've told about your brother. But you need to call your brother and repent to your brother for the lies that you have shared about your brother.
SPEAKER_02And not just to your brother.
SPEAKER_01But you need to call the people that you have lied to and tell them I told you a lie and I am so sorry. That young man that asked me that question this week, it's not his lie that's the problem. It's the lie of another brother. And that brother needs to call him and say, I told you a lie about this situation, and I need you to forgive me. So here's the deal. To restore, to reconcile. God is the defender of his name and his work. In Matthew chapter 16 and verse 18. The Bible says, I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. He said, I will build my church. And hear me today. It needs spirit-led pastors. It needs spirit-led leadership. It needs spirit-led love. It needs spirit-led mercy.
SPEAKER_00We need spirit-led grace. No more gossip. No more criticism. No more slander.
SPEAKER_01No more forms that promote the bearing of false tales. What we need is mercy. What we need is restoration. What we need is reconciliation. God wants us to have a revival of prodigals.
SPEAKER_02And it's not Satan that's standing in the way of a prodigal revival.
SPEAKER_01It's the body of Christ that is preventing a prodigal revival. The Bible said in Psalm 105 and verse 15. It says, Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm.
SPEAKER_00This is not just about prophets. It's about God's covenant people. When we slander, when we calomion, when we bear false witness.
