The Host

The Host is the ringmaster of this Podcast — attempting to keep order while Eamon overanalyses, when Hector is unpredictable, and if Captain Fantastical Mick wanders off on another Camino-inspired tangent.

Equal parts moderator, chief stirrer, and long-suffering presenter, The Host guides listeners through the highs, lows, transfer disasters, and questionable captain choices.

While fantasy football may be the excuse for gathering around the microphones, absolutely nothing is off limits once a conversation starts. One minute it’s captaincy dilemmas, the next it’s Saipan, sandwiches, life advice nobody asked for, or an unnecessary debate about 1980s television. The Host somehow keeps the podcast moving forward while also being responsible for at least 73% of the chaos.

Known for dramatic introductions, misplaced optimism, and treating every gameweek like a national emergency, The Host firmly believes that every show tells a story.

Captain Fantastical Mick

Captain Fantastical Mick is the Arkham Avengers’ very own gravel-voiced football man who believes every problem can be solved with “a good honest 4-4-2.”

A former “international” in his own mind, Mick delivers old-school football wisdom, accidental comedy and weekly outrage at modern tactics, expected goals and players wearing gloves in August.

Mick approaches Fantasy Premier League with the subtlety of a post-match interview and his getting ready for the Camino walk.

Eamon

Eamon is the self-appointed voice of reason on the Arkham Avengers Podcast — a role he takes very seriously despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Known for bold predictions, not mincing his words and an unwavering belief that he knows best, Eamon brings passion to every episode. If there’s a bandwagon to jump on, chances are Eamon won’t be on it.

Hector

Hector is the international guest of the Arkham Avengers Podcast, currently reporting somewhere between Brazil and Ireland, baggage claim and complete  confusion.

Famous for getting on the wrong side of Eamon, “Hector’s Hello’s” and for mixing up his football chips with crisps, Hector brings samba energy and absolutely no tactical discipline to the podcast.

Rumour has it he once missed a deadline because he was “on Copacabana time.”
