The Heart Attack Thriver Podcast
The sharing of stories is often underrated in the healing journey after a heart attack or any near death experience for that matter. I will be using this platform to provide a place where people who have had an “Event of the Heart” can share their stories and continue to heal themselves. I believe we all have medicine on our hearts and that our stories are the medicine that someone out there needs to receive. I will also be talking with medical experts, health care providers, dietitians, as well as holistic practitioners about yoga, meditation and breath-work and how they can all help to prevent stress and anxiety and ultimately Cardiovascular Dis-Ease.

Episode 64: Remembering Bruce Paterson
In this episode I talk about Bruce Paterson who was married to a high school friend of mine. Bruce and Karen were avid cyclists and like me Bruce had a passion for playing ice hockey. Sadly, Bruce was taken from us too early when he suffered a massive heart attack while training on his bike in the basement of his home in Port Hope, Ontario, Canada
Bruce’s passing has hit me hard as our stories are similar and Bruce should still be alive.
Cardiovascular Dis-Ease is the #1 Killer of men and women worldwide running away from all other causes of death.
This podcast is a reminder to take your life and your health and well being seriously. Get checked out, get your blood work done, know the signs and symptoms and know your family history!!
Service for Bruce to be held Saturday March 16th in Uxbridge Ontario

To make a donation in Bruce’s memory the family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to an amazing program that supports young and upcoming cyclists the Cycling Canada Campaign - In support of Ontario Cycling's Tony Osborne Fund
