#79 - Manufacturing in a Fast-changing World, with Scott MacMillan, Fujifilm
Show Notes

Scott MacMillan is the Group Operations Director at Fujifilm Ink Solutions Group & Chairman of Fujifilm Sericol India. He has led the operations for Fujifilm Ink Solutions Group for the past 3 years and joined not long before the start of the COVID crisis. He was instrumental in leading the manufacturing operation by navigating the many unprecedented challenges the business faced. The business has 4 main sites across the world! Scott's role includes ensuring the product continues to meet demands, controlling the supply chain, and ensuring quality continues to excel regardless of these challenges. His responsibility is the operational aspect of manufacturing, including procurement of raw materials, supply chain, quality control, and chemical manufacturing.

For us at FuturePrint, it was interesting for us to speak with a global operational leader, and to hear their perspective on what it takes to thrive in the increasingly uncertain times we live in.

Fujifilm Ink Solutions Group will be giving a presentation at our upcoming FuturePrint TECH conference, 9-10 November in Cambridge, UK. Book a delegate spot today to hear more from Fujifilm. Registration closes soon!
