Nutrient Claims - Are They Really "A Good Source Of" Information?
Show Notes

Nutrient claims are phrases like "good source of fibre" or "low in calories" found on a wide variety of food packages. They are  bite-sized pieces of information about a specific nutrient in one serving of food . These claims are highly regulated and fairly simple to understand but they don't tell the whole truth about a product. Just because a food is "low in sugar" doesn't necessarily mean it's better for you. So how much should you pay attention to these claims? Tune in to find out.
